The United MECO Front is proposing the MECO Economic Diversification Program |

| MECO ECONOMIC DIVERSIFICATION PROGRAM - 2023/2029 |

--> The aim is to make member states of MECO economically diverse and competitive on the MECO market and world stage

--> MEDP will be a every six-year program that will prioritise MECO members in need of diversification of the economy

--> MEDP will focus on enhancing the competivness and export opportunities of small and medium-businesses, as well as on improving business formation environment, investment projects and infrastructure and as a result will strength the member state's non-Oil/non-Other Specific Product GDP Growth and Job Creation.

--> MEDP will focus on supporting the development of business and enterprise skills and abilities of locals, whilst supporting them through every stage of the proccess

--> MEDP will focus on aiding member government's in bringing through required laws and programs to enhance diversification and competivness of the economy

--> MEDP will have it's own budget which will be formed by a contribution from members that will reach 1% of the GDP.

--> The First MEDP Budget for 2023/2029 will encompass the sum of $1 117 378 200 000

--> The MEDP Budget breakdown will be voted by all member states

--> The MEDP Budget funds will be broken up into DIVERSIFICATION THROUGH INDUSTRY, DIVERSIFICATION THROUGH SERVICES, DIVERSIFICATION THROUGH AGRICULTURE and BUSINESS AND ENTERPRISE ENHANCMENT.

--> The MEDP will set out major targets for member states in the specific fields that were mentioned above, in order to diversify the economies efficiently, quickly and collectively

--> The MEDP will effectively bring the exports of member states to that of one product dependent

--> The MEDP will be led by a commission composed of two economists from each member state, the presiding Chairman will be elected by the President of MECO

--> The MEDP will support non-oil/non-Specific Product industries, services, agriculture, business to develop within each member state depending on the situation and needs

--> The MEDP will ensure that diversification of the economy will take place throughout the whole member country rather than be focused on specific areas, to reduce likeness of poverty, unemployment and inequality

--> The MEDP will offer equal chances to women and men, equal chances to all faiths and ethnicities and equal chances to all other minorities

--> The MEDP will aim to create a healthy competitive yet diversified economy of each member state, in order to strength regional, national and MECO economies altogether for the future to come |
