Gassasinian Navy Mobilised Around Laurentine Gulf
MINDEF has announced that Gassasinian naval assets will be mobilised to the Laurentine Gulf in support of potential Sekidean Union forces after the High-Queen of Shaunteville declared war on Krenya.

Royal Gassasinian Navy warships will assist in logistical support for any Sekidean Union intervention, and enforcing maritime patrols within the region, including halting any "unauthorised material" headed towards Shaunteville.

The amphibious assault ship HGMS Jabiyah has been sighted headed to the Laurentine Gulf, outfitted with a series of VTOL naval fighters. It has been reported that an unregistered flag-less ship sighted heading from Plagyorasia has been boarded by Royal Gassasinian Navy boarding teams as of a few minutes ago.

Anonymous sources suggest that the Gassasinian government is currently undergoing considerations for increases to defence spending, to better equip the Gassasinian Defence Force for a greater role in international security.

(Note: Due to previous considerations, Gassasinian involvement in the Plagyorasia conflict will be retconned from an entire brigade to a special forces battalion.)
