Given their small size, my personal recommendation is to not build embassies yet, but to tell them that we'll build embassies if we see significant growth from them. Opinions?

I agree

My personal opinion on the new Security Council vote "Repeal "Commend Northern Borland"": AGAINST

I'm tired of roleplayers, game players, trading card collectors, interregional diplomats, and forum fans spitting on the accomplishments of amazing issue players like Northern Borland. From experience, I can tell you that, even with all of the tools available, building up your nation's stats and cultivating the attributes of your choice is extremely hard work, and it's a real shame how much it gets dismissed.

Another extreme affront to Northern Borland's accomplishments is the basis for this repeal, or rather the two bases. The first is the sarcastic and humorous writing style of the commendation. No duh, this is NationStates! Of course it's supposed to be funny! I'm actually concerned about how much this repeal goes on about the original commendation's writing style... it's as if it didn't have any other ground to stand on...

The second is centered on the stats that Northern Borland has chosen to focus on, mainly the fact that it prioritizes the economy over everything else. Again, this is NationStates. The sheer fact that Northern Borland is so good at boosting their economy is a testament to their experience as one of the best issue players in all of NationStates!

In conclusion, to all of you who believe in the diversity of NationStates play styles, or who just solve your four issues a day, vote AGAINST repealing Northern Borland's commendation.

Or don't, since I'm not your mom and I have no say in your personal decisions, but at least take my words into careful consideration.

That, and the repeal text is pretentious even by my standards. "Enabling the Security Council to once again be free of unsophisticated drivel"? Quite.

As I did on Discord, I'd also like to point out here, that the Council is yet to fill in the last vacancy on the Court and no official recommendation has been made so far.

Oooh, the issue about issues! I'm not sure, but I think you might be beating me now...

In other news, I got the issue about people not knowing how to brew tea on one of my alts and the name of my "ever-sarcastic secretary" randomized to Kristen. Ever-sarcastic? More like ever-Smolcastic...

Isn't the last option in the egg you just got selling your soul to the devil for more issues? I may be misremembering and confusing it with another issue where you make a deal with the devil, but I'm not sure...

Oooh, I have another weird issue name randomization story!

I assume you know that sometimes, the randomization algorithm will take words from custom fields like your leader's name or nation's motto. If you didn't, now you do.

On my puppet Duolingonia, I got the issue about weather alerts, and NS decided to take my motto ("A fiefdom of Eshialand-Galdanulia") and name somebody Ingmar Eshialandgaldanulia! Most patriotic name I've ever seen XD

You're part of the team going in to rebuild it? Well, then I'll leave it in your capable hands, since you'll be much more up to date with the facts than I am. I just want an embassy with them because they were like a slice of NS history.

I mean, we didn't actually have an embassy with them before, so it'll have to in through the same process as any other embassy. Also, we still have to wait for the region to be raider-free. The pile has shrunk from over sixty to about thirty, and the rest of them show clear intent to leave, so maybe soon? I don't know for sure when though...

EDIT: Spike Wilbury has resigned from the WA, leaving The Embassy sans délégué (for the time being, anyway)

The LCRUA's embassy with the Embassy has been closed before the conquest of the Embassy, unless you mean the embassy that LCRUA had with the Embassy, as opposed to the LCRUA having an embassy with the Embassy

I feel like I had a stroke reading this.

Anyway, ignore me. I just realised that I still get updates for LCRUA as the regional founder. I just saw the embassy closure in my notifications and assumed it was for The LCRUA.

Actually, I would be in favor of an embassy with The Embassy, as it would give us another place to advertise the LCRUA Globe, among other fun benefits.

Also, that post was somewhat confusing, wasn't it...
