Purpose: To award Honeydewistania a badge of commendation for being the author or co-author of many World Assembly resolutions, antifascist efforts as part of the MT Army and Antifa, and contributions as a member of government to Mariner Trench and the URA.

The Office's Analysis

The at-vote resolution, "Commend Honeydewistania", is decently written and presents plenty of reasons for issuing a commendation for the nominee in a nicely structured manner. Honeydewistania has authored or co-authored no less than 20 resolutions in the World Assembly, but additionally to the sheer number of authorships, the frequent help they've provided to newer nations looking to write proposals is what really sets the nominee apart. Also tying in to WA matters is their work in the United Regions Alliance, where they helped in building a professional WA program, but this is only one organization they immensely contributed to: Prominently their accomplishments with the MT Army and Antifa in fighting fascism on NationStates are rightly highlighted by the proposal. Thus, OWL recommends a vote FOR the at-vote resolution, "Commend Honeydewistania".

It's simply appalling that we have honor killings occuring in the world today. There are certain grievous acts that are simply universally evil and the World Assembly has a moral obligation to outlaw such acts when national legislatures fail.
