Seems is the keyword. You know why they accept it? Because they either do not know anything better than the current governing body (censorship of the outside media) or they just simply live in fear. Best case scenario? Is because the dictatorship has actually brung prosperity in the country.

People generally accept dictatorships in the early stages or out of pure desperation. Or they are supported by corrupt, disingenuous, mal-intent people

For a real life example; just look at Singapore for a second. They are still a dictatorship, HOWEVER; they are a Benevolent Dictatorship, and its dictatorship has brought prosperity (aka gave a better life status to the people living there in some sort of way, shape or form) which is as to why they havent been hated just because theyre a dictatorship.

70 is a good solid grade and that'd be one of my better ones, hell back in the 1990s with the old 8 point grading system a 70 was barely passing

To be honest, democracy has its flaws on areas that dictatorships are better at. For example, keeping a consistent and more efficient development for decades (though that entirely depends on whether the dictatorship makes the right decisions).
