Why yes these are turbulent times we live in; however I've yet to see any of them find their way online. How can triumph soon be at hand when practically all senior positions are available, it shows you're not organized. Show us how you're a true democracy don't simply state that, also don't treat us as if we're idiots i'm pretty sure if we wound up here we know how to move to a region.

I've been to Britian, The USA, China, Japan, Australia, South Africa, Canada, even Tuvalu. Everything has it's roots in the web and everyone can find a way to use the internet to their advantage and someone elses disadvantage. However the internet was not the sole cause of those jasmine revolution, if anyone is to blame it's the leaders that thought it wise to oppress and suppress their national populace in the first place. Also why are you defending a recruitment advertisement?

@Emma Peel: what are you on about? I've just looked in on Tunisia, there's only one nation there, and it's the Founder, who has by a couple of years outlived the nations ignorant enough to threaten a revolt against an active Founder. Egypt has both Founder and Delegate, and seems to be a small but peaceful and cheerful and active region. Libya also has an active Founder, and only 3 other nations. The region isn't inert but neither is it in turbulence. I don't even see any recent raider attempts there --- raiders only try to take a region with an active Founder if they're complete noobs or masochists.

@Kowalski: what's wrong with a recruitment spad? We all get to poke fun at the ad and sometimes even at the region, and Draaaaaagon gets to eat the spam afterwards (though I've given the restaurant staff instructions to make sure he always has plenty of coffee to wash it down). That's a free floor show and a free meal for Draaaaaagon and anybody else who likes spam. And when they're done I have the staff feed them high doses of ex-lax, and we can all sit back and watch them scramble for the toilets (and we always direct them to the ones marked "Out Of Order", just for fun). So we get a bit of slapstick to end with. What's not to like? >:-)

Waiter, I'll have a cafetiere of Colombian coffee and a plate of Napoleon hats please, and coffee all round for my fellow-TRRans. The usual for the spadders. My tab, thanks.

Sweet...by the way, how often do the "Feature Region" get changed?

It's something I try to fit in when there's space (there isn't any at the moment) and when we've recently received an influx of nations from a given region where something interesting is going on. So far we've had The Eastern Islands of Dharma after Unibot got deleted and they had to refound, Gatesville when Gates ejected everyone, and Greece when the Founder woke up and ejected the folks who had just managed to take the delegacy. Usually it stays up for about 4-5 days to a week.

I didn't know there was a reason for your picks? Until now I thought you randomly chose a region that sparked your interest or took your eye. Do you often have large influx of members of regions, like, does that happen enough for you to change it every week or so?
