Great, I knew there was a reason I stopped answering issues years ago. My political freedom rating just collapsed because my interpretation of the proposed remedy differed substantially from the site's satirical take. Same as how a few days ago sports got banned in Star City - that wasn't in the text of the issue option.

Farewell to our sister region, Allied States of EuroIslanders. I opted, as de facto caretaker, to consign it to history with the passing of the year after more than three years without native presence and no sign of imminent return. I was never asked to be the bearer of the history of ASE. Nonetheless, I have archived their factbook entry, regional activity history, and the entire eleven year record of the regional message board.
Gone, but not forgotten.

While our sister region may be gone, our cousin(?) Anticapitalist Alliance is still around. I keep trying to establish an embassy with them but no-one occupies the regional admin positions.
