I would like to believe that the government that formed the nation sets certain laws, sort of like how we have the ability to do this in the u.s., that lets the nation operate as anarchy where the people are free to choose as much as possible, and you will be kicked out of elections if you support legislature that takes away those freedoms. This is not a republic, where anyone can do whatever they want with their lives, as long as it does not inhibit others' ability to do the same. This is an anarchy where I collect taxes to prove to TGW that I am a legitimate country, even though the government that would be spending that money is tiny, consisting of only a few hundred ministers and manual workers. It is an awkward balance, one that has up-ended now that the many rich people in the nation have completely separated themselves from the poor and taken over the government, essentially because they can. Something like that can not happen in the U.S., but here, it is much easier. For myself, I am still Leader, just because these powerful people that run massive companies find it useful to have me in the public spotlight, for various reasons I am sure you guys can figure out on your own.
I'm mixed! My mom is guyanese, so if you're in south or central America you might know where that is, and my dad is white. So I'm close to a lot of Latino countries, but technically carib bc of my mom :)
Same here! I thought you spoke English! it's so cool that you still communicate w us like that tho :)
I wanna see the statue so bad!! my Spanish teachers honeymoon was to rio and a couple other places (peru, Guatemala, etc) and I've seen a lotta photos :)
I'm in Spanish 3 at my school, and then I might be starting french soon if I end up changing schools (and if I have to have a language lol)

Perai, nós estamos tentando revogar ou aprovar a liberdade dela?
'wait, are we trying to approve or revoke their freedom?' (I think) estamos essencialmente assumindo essas regiões, devido a ações e/ou ódio espalhado por eles (acredito) desculpe se isso não faz sentido estou usando o google tradutor. we're essentially taking over those regions, due to actions and/or hate spread by them (I believe) sorry if this makes no sense I'm using google translate also, they refounded layem, i think with Republic of Layem
this is portuguese, it is still similar to spanish, in my opinion, sometimes i'm too lazy to use the translator or write something in english, funny that i had english classes today.
I just guessed what they said bc I was lazy, and then used a translator to double check.
same!! my English teacher is also my homeroom teacher (or pack, my schools mascot is a timberwolve idk [haha pun yeah]) but my English teacher and Spanish teacher are by far my favorites this year. I've had my Spanish teacher for Spanish 1 in the past, and Spanish 3 currently so I've known him for a hot minute :D
I know there could definitely be different opinions on this, so please, everybody answer that can, but how and in what ways are Portuguese and Spanish different? No particular reason, just curious.
