Polotsk rus

A map of the Kingdom of the Polotsk Rus from it's modern day borders today inhabiting a nation of culturally, religiously and ethnically diverse state of people from all walks of life in a common goal for prosperity of their nation. Today, the Polotsk Rus is inhabited by LinkPoles, LinkBelarusians, LinkLithuanians, LinkGagauz Turks and LinkUkrainians who are equal and have same rights as Polotskrians do under the Constitution of the Polotsk Rus.

The state flag of the Kingdom of the Polotsk Rus since 1789 AD. Today the flag represents the history of Polotsk with the tricolor of Blue Ivy, representing the people of Polotsk, the White triband, for the land Byelorossia or Belarus which the people of Polotsk first settled in 987 AD and the Black triband, for representing the Russian Empire and Slavic culture of the Polotsk Rus. It also represents the Polotsk Revolt of 1890 when Polotskrian secessionism was the only option left as resistance against the LinkRussian Empire which failed controlling the 1789 Polotsk Famine across the failed grain harvest in LinkWhite Russia or Byelorossia/Belarus.

An alternative White, Golden and the the Black triband state flag of the Kingdom of the Polotsk Rus used as an alternative flag with Sepia colors. Created in 1970 AD this variation flag of Kingdom of the Polotsk Rus is used by the Polotskrian Foundation Against Disabilities of the Kingdom of the Polotsk Rus. This flag represents the fight against disabilities and the iron will of the Polotskin people born with disabilties such as the success of the Polotsk Rus Amputee National Football Team which is a part of the LinkEAFF or the European Amputee Football Federation.

May I ask how you made the map?

Scroplia wrote:May I ask how you made the map?

I used a base image of Southern Belarus with it's regions (including Polotsk) and used Paint.net to delete/paint over the provincial borders and painted the background to white while the border to black.

That's how i did it. If there were more detailed maps of Southern Belarus and it's regions/provinces i'd do a provincial map with details but it was good effort.

I have never heard of that before. That's strange to me.

Meadowfields wrote:haha, okay. anyways, i haven't told you what type of socialist i am yet! I'm a market socialist, which means I support business wherein workers democratically own the means of production trading under a regulated market (without a stock market). I'm also a Reformist Marxist, which means I view reformism/peaceful revolution as a way to achieve the end goal of Marxism: A stateless, classless society wherein workers are paid on how much they work with direct resources, instead of money.
both are based.

Genuinely, as a capitalist, market socialism sounds fine to me.

Today we're featuring Marsha P. Johnson.

Marsha P. Johnson was an American gay liberation activist and self-identified drag queen. Known as an outspoken advocate for gay rights, Johnson was one of the prominent figures in the Stonewall uprising of 1969. Though some have mistakenly credited Johnson for starting the riots, Johnson was always forthcoming about having not been present when the riots began.

Johnson was a founding member of the Gay Liberation Front and co-founded the radical activist group Street Transvestite Action Revolutionaries (S.T.A.R.), alongside close friend Sylvia Rivera. Johnson was also a popular figure in New York City's gay and art scene, modeling for Andy Warhol, and performing onstage with the drag performance troupe Hot Peaches. Johnson was known as the "mayor of Christopher Street" due to being a welcoming presence in the streets of Greenwich Village. From 1987 through 1992, Johnson was an AIDS activist with ACT UP.

Johnson's body was found floating in the Hudson River in 1992. It was ruled a suicide by the NYPD, but controversy followed concerning the cause of death.

Without mods Civ 6 is boring but it's still awesome that my AMD Radeon RX560 that's 6 years old and a DDR 3 card can play it in ultra graphics for a game made in 2016 :D XD.

Bless the dev team at 2K and Firaxis for letting us players still playing with DDR3 gear to have fun without ganking the experience.

I've never used any mods on Civ all the time I've played it. Are any of them any good?

Thrones and Palaces (UI), Sukritact’s Oceans (Graphics), Hillier Hills (Banter/Joke Mod but actually very quality made), Enhanced Mod Manager (Utility), Religion Expanded (Content), Sukritact’s Global Relations Panel (Utility), World Wonders Collection (Content), Latin American Resources (Content), Steel and Thunder (Content), Community Quick User Interface (UI) and Better Trade Screen (UI) are all really good mods and especially Sukritract's mods.

You can check this dispatch for more information:

Important update: The Strangereal map has changed from TNP to region=saint_helene

Strangereal Roleplay Map

Very important points:

1. If you would like to stake a claim in for some land on the map then TG, Waupun Island, Minuda, Lungha.
2. If you make a post on the RMB asking to be put on the map, or put it in a factbook or dispatch, you will be ignored, please refrain from doing so.
3. Try your best to find out in advance WHERE you would like to claim, not just "can i join the map pls" or a vague "this rough area pls" *points at an entire continent* Get yourself Linkpaint.net, make a thing, show where you want it. Or at the very absolute least try to put in words exactly where, it's not that hard.
4. When you know where you want to be, stay there, don't ask carto if you can move. "B-b-but that spot is nicer and-" Should have thought of that in advance.

-

-

Claims must be:
1. Reasonable enough to be put onto the map. No beginner nation will be the size of Friently, or higher, for their claim. If you want more accurate claims and you have Paint.net, beginner claims have a limit of 40k pixels. Your secondary nation will have to be at 20k pixels or less. However a secondary cannot be claimed immediately upon joining the map.
2. Picky is good. Feel free to request changes to borders if you aren't happy with them.
3. This map's planet is the same size as Earth, so we won't be making the map any bigger. If Earth can fit 200 nations, so can this.
4. We are not changing or adding new territory to the map. Use the existing land more efficiently and we won't need any more.
5. Not on any body of water.
-
Map removal will occur when:
1. AFRP, or Away From RP (not RPing for 30 days, 20 days in the case of people on other RMB maps)
2. RMB RP Ban (if one clause states "therefore, the RMB Cartography Staff shall remove <nation> from the map")
3. Cease to Exist (when the nation dies in the 28th day. Exceptions apply.)
4. Moderator Sanctioned
5. RP posts are not up to standard (refrain from making posts that are just one sentence)

Maps

Map Version:403: Got oil?

Reminder: The alliance map is not handled by the carto team but by independent people who only work on it when they feel like it, this may cause the alliance map to be outdated, do not ask for it to be updated, it will be when a new version is finished.
