An important thing to remember when playing NS.

Be you,
Make your nation the way you want it to be. Don’t fear or change things because others want it to be that way. Creativity is one thing Max Barry probably had in mind when making this game. I love NS and I like making my nation the way I want it.

Have fun and be nice!

“Fourth Grand Fleet Dreadnaught Tyrinio-Alfera to St. Aleyda- I repeat, Fourth Fleet Dreadnaught Tyrinio-Alfera to St. Aleyda, come in.” The distorted, lagging, scruffy voice over the radio poured through the telecommunications room over five-hundred kilometers away from its origin point, the latter half of the dispatched Fourth Fleet, a hundred kilometers shy of the Flandonipian City of Plosa.

“This is Radio Dispatch St. Aleyda, what's your status?” The radio operator clicked back. The Fourth Grand Fleet were operating under minimal radio contact, this was surely important.

“Be advised, Ships across the Task Force are picking up a large mass of airborne units headed 165° Southsoutheast towards Darvanyc. We’re looking at anywhere from one hundred to two hundred aircraft on the outer edges of our radar… Be advised, a massive aerial fleet inbound towards Darvanyc.” The scraggly voice replied back.

The radio operator nervously shifted in his seat, Two hundred aircraft?. He gripped the analog radio microphone with his increasingly sweaty hand. “Heard and recognized. Sending a relay to the nearest installation… St. Aleyda out.” The radio-operator on the Dreadnaught Tyrinio-Alfera echoed back his response, a small click emitting over the radio before the in-use static cut to nothingness. The radio operator at St. Aleyda swerved in his chair and unplugged one key from an open slot into another on the other side of the telecommunications array in front of him. After a brief moment, he spouted the same report the Tyrinio-Alfera had given.

Originally believed to be a widespread case of faulty equipment, possibly brought forth by particularly interesting weather phenomena, when the hundreds of aircraft crossed the threshold of modern radar’s range and popped up on Radar Screens recently installed 300km East of Teja, the entire nation was alerted at once. With the fleet of aircraft 100 kilometers away and closing fast, the alarm was raised across the Island in anticipation of the incoming attack. After the prior devastating attack on the island; there wouldn’t be another. At airfields, air bases, and military ports scattered around the island, air raid sirens blared with full intensity. The ghostly siren interrupted the blissful peace of the early morning, and War had returned to Darvanyc.

At air bases in Rekitatch, Sisenand, Erelieva, St. Aleyda, and the few miniature air fields that dotted just inside the coastal expanse, airmen rushed to their planes full-speed, sprinting across the blackened tarmac or flattened gravel alike. Marshallers directed outgoing planes into lines in preparation for take-off. It was a race to take off and meet the enemy. One after another, biplane after biplane took off in rapid succession, all headed northward towards Teja and the surrounding area, they flew in increasingly uniform rows, forming into ranks as they caught up with each other.

Ships in port along the southern coast readied anti-aircraft batteries and prepped Gothilum X-tubes to be launched towards the imminent enemy. At the many military bases spread throughout the island, Troops threw on equipment, throwing tame body armor over their brown boreal-forest uniforms, slinging Lee-enfields, Jungle Carbines, Lanchesters, and Brens over their shoulders; scrambling to throw magazines and grenades into their tactical belts before cautiously waiting as further orders were given.

A chime back from the Radio Station East of Teja alerted the Island’s forces to the slowing down of the aircraft before they eventually seemed to stand still over the Beach just west of Teja.

The planes started to approach the enemy airfleet, and with every moment being precious, the engines worked full-force as they buzzed and tore through the sky. Being 3,000 meters in the sky, the aircraft cruised just above the clouds and peered down at the vast sea of wood and foliage below. Not before long, the increasing blue-horizon, the ocean, started to come into view. The hum of jets became ever more apparent and as they looked down on the gray aircraft that lined the beige beach, it became evident the nature of the air fleet; it was an invading force. Relaying a message back to the Broadcast Center that was then spread throughout, the first plane of ships declared visual contact and a landing army. The planes vered down and screamed through the sky as they bellowed down towards the airplanes and helicopters that crowded the area. With the close nature of the fight, the nimble and agile Biplanes could stand their ground against the metallic beasts of the Flandonipian Air Force. The rumble of propeller aircraft and loud humm of jet engines intertwined with the rhythmic thumping of tilt-rotor aircraft.

The enemy would not land uncontested. As troops orderly escaped the large landing aircraft they came under sporadic fire as biplanes would strafe towards them before veering back up and rejoining the aerial fight at hand. It was a slug fest, and it seemed like every plane on the island was headed towards Teja, and every pilot would die for their country.

Southward in St. Aleyda, the report of a landing army echoed throughout the quiet chamber of the Major General. At that moment, Major General Ulieviaye shot up straight from leaning over his desk and declared that the Division would roll out at once to counter this inevitable threat. He was certain of their objectives. Under the wailing of the sirens, Major General consulted his Lieutenant Colonels and laid out his plan; to split the 6th Amphibious Division, and have one head on the main road northwest towards Teja while the other would loop around using the backroads and approach Teja from it’s east- as if even if the city was enveloped and taken, they could be boxed in and either shelled out by impending Gothilum Artillery if warranted or starved out with the support of a rerouted Gothilum Air Force. He would get in contact with other smaller garrisons in the area to the north and south to mount the counter attack. To defeat the enemy was the number one objective.

So, utilizing the arrangement of light vehicles on hand, Soldiers of the 6th scampered onto transports, while most had to divert themselves to walking. Those that did gain seats were ordered ahead as scouting parties and preeminent attack forces. By the time they could reach Teja, the city was sure to be under attack. Carrying their weapons, rucksacks, and other important gear, they set out.

Another chime from the Radar Station saw more planes enter the fray. They were picked up coming from the North, but weren’t reported by the latter half of the Fourth Grand Fleet. All things pointed to them being high above the range of the Naval Radar and just within the verge of the Inland Radar range. A relay was sent to the Hyanmant Airfield south of Erelieva that called for a Special Air Wing. Biplanes that came with engines capable of using hydrogen-infused JP-8 kerosene based fuel that were faster than your average biplane, as well as dual .50 caliber guns, pressurized cockpits, and its own supply of oxygen on hand. A beacon of Gothilum ingenuity and excellence, a marvel that had stayed largely hidden from the public eye. There was no way that they could keep up with high-speed bombers in a prolonged fight, but a direct confrontation could yield possible results.

They’re engines screamed and spat as the propellers were wound up before they were taxied to the tarmac and soared into the sky, one after another. A small wing of 10 planes, dispatched to intercept the enemies to the best of their ability. But their efforts would come up futile. Leading the charge on Teja and reaching the city far before the high altitude interceptors, the tactical bombers released their payloads on the city of Teja mercilessly. Explosions rattled the ground, flattening groups of homes at a time as the small garrison within remained hunkered down. The distant booming of artillery joined the fray, lighting the city ablaze with explosions that continued to pelt the city. The 22nd Regiment, the local garrison, reeled from the explosions. With every moment, another soldier was ripped from existence. But they refused to yield.

All hell was coming down on Teja, and said hell would be punished.

The Federal Union of Third 3rd Skyclan republic

Fredens, The Palace. 24th May, 11:00 LST

The Minister of Fredens steps out of his room, since november, Thomas Kullersen, Berkias Monarch, had been missing, that had been last year, months had past with no signs, Berkia had been holding out hope for the monarch to return, but the hope had faded, and today, the Minister of Fredens would finally start the process to achieve his ambitions of becoming ruler of berkia.

He walks throughout the Fredensia palace, the Palace had survived the last 6 wars berkia had been in and also served as the governing palace of the Berkian Republic, Kingdom of Berkia, and Kingdom of Fredensia, since 1309.Even when all hope had been lost as Caldenian forces had almost reached Berkia’s capital. The palace endured.

Now, the halls were etched with murals of the nation's past in some places, and most of the halls however, were still empty as walkways were useful when they were empty.

He walked through the halls. The echoes of his footsteps were very audible , there was little to stop the sounds, and he could hear them in the almost quiet halls.

Berkia had now seen better days, but worse ones too, Berkia had once been much more wealthy, before the skyclan war, Berkia was considered ‘semi-modern’, life then had been less complex, and better, even though the power of Berkia in terms of military was lower, it had been doing well economically

Then came the Skyclanian-Berkian war and that had been a wake up call for Berkia, With the major city of Dragons edge and Caldera Ler almost captured by Skyclanian forces, this had shown while the nation had been doing very well in the economic department, the older Berkian armed forces had not been properly trained and had to be conscripted to push the skyclanians back. The occupation of Skyclan had been a issue, but do to skyclans strict dictatorship and Berkias Monarchy, which back then was more liberal, the Skyclanians had not been outgoing until now and well integrated into Berkian society.

Until recently, there had been riots calling for ‘Democracy’ within Berkia, not independence, but now, they thought the once liberal monarchy should be replaced.

Berkias monarchy had seen different rulers in the last 70 years, the recent ones had been pushing for stricter ones, but the recent one, Tom Kullersen, had made multiple reforms towards a more liberal policy system, but he had vanished, and he personally thought someone had meant for him to disappear.

Now, he looked out of the window, the nation had modernized more recently, with major shipyards in the cities of Mzekow, Windsor, and Caldera ler.Fredens skyline stretches out infront of him, some skyscrapers, like the Fredensia National Tower, or FNT, was the tallest in berkia right now, he could see it, it towered over the city, The surrounding skyscrapers were impressive too.

He looks at the wall.
