"In the spirit of protecting the very ideology that has bound our nation and those like it together over the past decades if not centuries, we must take steps to defend Socialism and its compatriots in ideology; Communism, Anarcho-Communism, and other ways of Socialist-oriented thought. All joined in the idea of the general worker owning the means and exploits of their labor. To upholds its values, way of life, and guarantee its longevity against a world that oh-so commonly seeks to get rid of it.

And such, we must find ourselves a plethora of allies with little regard for such a fine line of Socialism. We sit at an epoch. Not just in Baratochi, but the Inland Sea, the continent that surrounds us, and for the world. Baratochi and nations like it must come together to prosper; if not just survive.

In the last passing days, the Baratochin Public and beyond have received a small taste of plans for a Socialist Ideals, ideas being flung back and forth between our representatives and those from other like-minded nations. Formally, I announce the creation of the first phase of the Red Entente and call upon representatives from willing Socialist Countries to finalize and ratify their entrance into a new era; into the Red Entente."

The sun glazed over the morning sky, filling the scene of the city with a background of orange-pink glow. The birds fly overhead as the river runs deep and thorough through the early hour’s haze.

The sound of rifle cracks increase in ferocity from the other side of the bridge. There, the firefight has not budged it seems; the militants mere yards away from the edge, and there, the Capitol building. As the Captain zones back in, he steadies himself. “Grenadier! On me, now!” He forces his way up to the brick wall, edging along from cover to cover, the young man following close behind. As he nears the barricade, he holds out his hand, it is soon filled with the bulk of an oblong Grenade. The pin is pulled, and the black cylinder soon finds it mark, detonating shortly behind the barricade, far behind. The militant keeps firing, focusing on the Captain for a mere instant before cutting back to the assault squad, which used that time to rush forward. Another grenade is slung, and finds its mark.

Soon, the City Guards storm the position. The Captain filing over, takes cover behind a shootout coupe. Looking out, he orders his men to fan out and begin clearing the houses, holding a reserve platoon to secure the position and cut off the enemy on the bridge. However, as they fan out, less fire comes from the opposite side of the bridge. Not concerning himself over it, he orders focus on hitting the rear of the main palisade, to which great effect was had. As small fireteams of City Guards broke across the aforementioned, engines were heard across the bridge. With that, the Captain turned back, readying for the unknown source.

The source is then clear, weaving in and out of the crashed and burnt-out cars was the unmistakable dark blue of the offical Montarcian INS Guards armored cars, the most militarized gendarmie in all the nation. As the cars screeched to a halt and let out the blue-brown version of uniforms, all of which started breaching houses and generally swarming the insurgents, the occasional burst from one of the turrets suppressed the enemy far more than expected.

The sun beat down, now noon had settled into the sky, and with that, the light trails of smoke made their attempt to cover the hard light. The Captain of the City Guard walked slowly, the final militants being escorted, hands behind their heads, down the bridge. As his men follow behind, he pointed for his 2iC to take them over to the clear open slot for detainees, notable because of the large selection of such in that open dirt square. He, however, had radio business to take care of, and started toward the Capitol building.

The sight was obvious, the blue armored cars, the armed men holding positions around: Montarc had got its wish, and the last city-state was done. He stood there, as the hot sun beat down, staring. Only was he awakened by a honk of a horn, and then finally, walked towards the front gate.

The vote was held, by a clear 27-3 majority, Montarc would incorporate the last of the cities under the banner of one republic.

To all concerned, the DPBx Program’s DPBx-1 Model will be adopted in reaction to the threatening capability of the G&L armed forces. The new designation shall be DP-30, and will immediately start for procurement procedures. The concerns regarding engine reliability should be handled alongside increasing the Mach capability to cruise at Mach 3.8. Development into contemporary interceptor and LAQM (Low Altitude Quick Maneuvering) bomber platforms are underway to advance the MRAF capabilities in modern warfare.
