Then the young man was stab in the heart with a sacrificial dagger while chanting continues.

Vissier felt like he was back in boot-camp, replying to his Sergeant’s command exactly what he was told. Still, he wanted to offer them respect.

He looked down at the weapon offered to him. Indeed, just as he suspected - a slugthrower. It looked like something that would feel more at home in the Mechsican Empire. Despite the blatant primitiveness of a weapon like this, the size of the bore and magazine gave Douglas the impression that it was far more powerful than any other handheld mass-driver he’s ever seen. At the very least, it looked to be very well-made; he could appreciate the craftsmanship.

“Thank you for this; I believe this is the first time a Republic diplomat has been given a weapon by a newly contacted people. I greatly appreciate it. I do not require anything further from you, Sir. I will let you return to your work.”

As he continued to look at the bolter, he spoke to the ‘servo-skull’, what looked to be some kind of droid affixed to the remnants of a human skull. How abhorrently barbaric. He could only hope that such a thing was done voluntarily.

“Excuse me… I would like to speak to the Arch-magos. Could you schedule a meeting with him at his earliest convenience..?”

One of the engineers in the engine room explained that the jump drive, more professionally called a hyperdrive, used hypermatter particles to propel a ship into an alternate dimension, hyperspace, but bared no resemblance to the warp. He also explained how no such protocol or ceremony to appease the machine spirit exists.

The large hallway was lined with rows of suspended bodies, which led down a massive stretch to a massive computer-like device, which shot up into the air, fractaling into millions of shielded wires and tubes. The containers which held the bodies, numerous clones of Quilla's own form, backup bodies, made in the event that if she would die, it would ensure her a replacement right away. The computer was currently wired into the back of Quilla's head, and she unplugged them, liquids pouring out into a containment vessel upon the floor, and the liquid washed down the drain at the bottom. Queen Quilla stepped forth, stretching, and yawning, her old body returned, no more being an upload. The copy of her consciousness currently ran the second uploaded form, keeping control of the safety devices and defense systems across Kinmoon, as well as lordship over the smaller uploaded minds and A.I systems.

The Republic of New Saharia

A Light from Dark || Lounarei

A man sat in the center of the large chamber, deep in meditation. His beige robes fluttered gently, as if a light breeze was washing over him. Six tetrahedrons hovered around him, glowing a vibrant light-blue as they spun through the air effortlessly, lifted by his intense concentrations. Just behind him, another figure emerged from the threshold, peering in timidly before walking in. Two massive pillars flanked the wide entryway to the chamber, colored a reddish-orange by the stone they were carved from.

“You wanted to see me, Master?” The young boy put his hands behind his back, and straightened his posture. He had blonde hair and greenish eyes, and looked to be not more than eighteen years old.

The glowing stones around the Master slowly descended to rest on the ground, their light fading, revealing an intricate gold-trim around the edges. The robed man got to his feet, and spoke before turning around. “Yes, my son. Come, walk with me.”

They both left the Master’s chamber, walking side-by-side. David seemed slightly worried, as if he was in trouble for some reason. His Master, a man much older than him with greyish-brown hair and beard, pulled his hood back and looked over at the boy. “What worries you? You aren’t in trouble, young padawan. I assure you…”

An idea seemed to pop into his head. “Ahh… you’re behind on the assignment Lira gave you. Don’t worry; I know she can seem a bit strict. I am sure you’ll get a second chance.”

David seemed to relax a bit. “What did you want to see me for, father..?”

“I want you to look after the temple for me while I’m gone,” he replied, somewhat more bluntly. “I have a very important mission I must complete.”

Before he could even ask why he was leaving in the first place, David couldn’t help but question. “Me, dad? Why me? Why not one of the other Masters?”

“Because this will be a good test of your maturity, my son. I’m counting on you to make sure everything stays the way it must be. And to let me know of anything unusual while I am away.”

The temple itself was enormous. They found themselves walking along the edge of a large central plaza. A square room at least eight stories tall, the pyramidal roof was supported by four colossal stone pillars - themselves, the walls and floors all being of the same reddish-orange color. Facing inwards, each of the pillars bore a statue of a different person, each in robes - likely long-forgotten Jedi. One of them didn’t seem to be human.

“Where are you going, dad?” He looked up to his father, who simply grinned a little.

“That I must not tell you - not yet. Patience; you will know when the time comes.”

“Does… this all have something to do with the disturbance we all felt..?”

Master Kerronn stopped and sighed defeatedly.

“It does, doesn’t it?”

Kerronn knew he couldn't hide everything for too much longer. “David, please. I promise all will be revealed. No secret will be kept from you - or anyone else - for much longer. I trust you to leave it be while I am gone. Can you do that for me, son?” He looked down at David warmly.

David averted his father’s gaze, somewhat embarrassed. “Yes papa. I can. I will not fail you.”

Kerronn put his hand on the boy’s shoulder. “Master Lira has you saying that now? I fear you’re becoming more like her every day.” He chuckled. “Instead, why don’t you say… ‘I will succeed’?”

David just crossed his arms. “Dad, that’s literally the exact same thing.”

Kerronn laughed again. “Goodbye, my son. I will return before you know it.”

Meanwhile - The Dark Fire Grows

Fast asleep in her bunk, Méspsatu dreams deep. The usual affairs of her dreams play out, before they illy get... Interrupted. A vision? Something weird.

Before her, a land of countless crystals. Countless colours in a cracked, cavernous valley. How? Not a single thing about this planet, or place is of her own memories. But yet, it feels... Homey. Welcoming, even. Until she slowly stirs awake, that is.

Getting up, she reaches for the weaponry on the nightside table. Taking another, nice long ponder at that fancy glow stick she won from the Sith... Before trying to twist the bottom apart...

All too familiar crystal dropping out. Just like the ones in her dream.

...There must be more of them, right? It almost... Pulses, with her own heartbeat. Weird. Oh well.

...Telling the boys to find a planet with more of them, with this as a basis for a scan can’t hurt as a detour... Right?

Initial scouting operations in the Deep Core revealed a number of activity-hotspots of pirate and marauder activity. In spite of the nomadic and independent nature of most pirate groups, a degree of heavy infrastructure is still vital to maintain and construct vessels, thus supporting piracy as an industry unto itself.

Three major ‘nests’ were brought to the forefront of the Navy’s attention. A chaotic web of shipyards, stations, habitats and vaults made up these main strongholds. Although they were heavily-defended by pirate standards, they would be of little aid against a Saharian battlegroup…

Under the command of Grand Admiral Findley, a three-pronged attack would be launched into the Deep Core to eliminate these outposts. Stealth was out of the question - these nests had no hope of escape. The element of surprise was unnecessary, Findley figured.

Three main detachments of the 4th Armada, each with the same composition, led by the Warspite-class dreadnoughts ‘Victorious’, ‘Impervious’, and the ‘Malevolence’, plotted a strightshot course for the pirate havens…

She smiles "Okay then. So remember the races i brought up while the Chrystal ponys have their own Empire allied to Equestria with their own alicorn Princess about a decade ago the younger of the two regal alicorn sisters Princess Luna was allowed to return from her exile and the Celestial Monarchy ended and the Diarchy was reinstated. She is the one who prior to exile discovered us and had helped somewhat attempt to integrate us into Equestrian society and seemed to perfer us over the other Pony subspecies due to us being nocturnal and given her realm of magic retaliated to the night and Moon so when most ponys fell asleep she was awake to perform her royal duties. She was prior to even meeting us mildly resentful over the fact no on seemed to care about the Princess who was 'the lesser light' and eventually bitterness turned her into a mare of darkness known as Nightmare Moon and she had a rebellion which failed while some of us out of gratitude did assist her and we went into hiding in Hollow Shade a place of our own which Luna had helped us make within Equestria prior as well as allow us to speak to other ponys but giving us technology to lower the pitch of our volume to the level of pony and I suppose Terran ears can pick up. After 1000 years of exile she returned to Equestria and she was redeemed and like I said the Diarchy was reinstated. Only 10 years after her own return and integration back into Equestria after being gone for a millennia she had sought to brig about the recognition of Thestrals as a race that existed within Equestria and to be given equal rights to that the Pegasi, Earth Ponys and Unicorns which Celestia refused to unilaterally decreed so instead she took to democracy and had a nation wide referendum on the subject and the results of this results were in favor by slightly more then 50% thus based on the democratic ruling Thestrals should have been granted equal rights. Instead Celestria's pride corrupted her own mind and when learned of the results she became a wicked mare of the sun known as Daybreacker and murdered her sister Princess Luna then declared the creation of the Solar Empire as well as unbleached a chemical of some kind that killed off the male population of Thestrals. This sparked a civil war in Equestria and while the Solarist won the civil war in the chaos us Thestrals escaped to Griffonia on a different continent while the Solar Empire slowly conquered and installed puppet regimes around the Continent we were from. While Griffonia was a heavily divided Continent eventually we managed to survive by developing technology for artificial reproduction instead of us going extent out while in that exile however, we simply did not have the means to retake Equestria to liberate it and as Griffonia got more divided and her finally going after the break away colony of New Mareland a pony colony on the Griffonian Continent and taking it over we choose to leave for space so we can form a homeland in the stars before she thought about taking over that Continent as well." She sighs almost out of breath while saying that all very quickly and condensed the history as much as she could while being understandable.

the Solarians were impressed by this; they had figured they would have brough only practical ships, not larger craft like battleships. maybe they were taking this seriously after all. the solarians believed this could be done with cruisers, and so their contrabutions would be there, some 15 thousand Salvation class cruisers and 20 thousand Grace class Patrol cruisers. they would join in on this attack on the major shipyards, but also focus on smaller ones, hidden bases, port royales and pirate hubs and the like. meanwhile their fast ships would run down bands, to ensure that no one, not even the smaller groups, survives.

Awakens a beast....

....Of Infinite fangs

The portal gate glowed and swirled, before expanding upwards to the abyss of space above, revealing the clawed hands of the unknown beast which tore apart the very fabric of the gate's swirling energy field. The gate fell apart slowly, drifting off into space, before the mighty face of the beast appeared, forcing itself free from its containment, shattering the space station around it as it forced itself upwards and outwards.

Yurae has returned

The Beast of Infinite Fangs, long ago remembered as Yurae, goddess of night, now a being of unfathomable power and energy, captured by Sobel's Legion, the beast bearing his inhibitor and containment chains and metallic restraints.

Sobel's Legion has returned

"Guess it's time to start the invasion, huh?"

"We'll target the ring first, then we cut off the southern expanse by targeting the A.I systems and planetary generators, which power them of course."

"And Morphexia? Her army will assist us, right?"

"Indeed, she has built up a massive force in hiding, and with the "help" of Fabulon, we managed to get a few powered hellbores, it'll make it a lot easier. I have had one of Morphexia's agents stow away on a vessel earlier, intending to start a diplomatic incident abroad, but it didn't quite work out..."

"Hrm... but you did send them out again? Poki was it?"

"Yes, she'll disable Queen Quilla's overmind, or at least disrupt it, it'll allow us to bypass the defensive systems easier, and once we get through, we can begin our... "war". The beast will be a momentary distraction as well, helping divert forces to investigate, if the defense systems don't damage it enough right away."

Sobel turned in his chair, facing the large control panel and camera feeds, before clicking a few buttons and tuning into the feed of Poki, watching as she slowly descended down the ventilation shafts and into the maintance tubes, slowly undoing wiring and the complex machinery which whirled within.

"Queen Quilla knows we're coming by the way... but she doesn't know when, I would've expected the security to be a little higher, but I have a friend clouding her systems and mind nearby, so Poki can do her work without being "disassembled", to say the least."

Raid nodded, and watched on at the video feed which beamed from Poki's own eyes. "I'll prepare our ship I guess... and the drones also." Sobel nodded as well, and let her leave, watching the video feed with a blank stare, waiting for Poki to disable the many, many, many, many defense systems, and the overmind's controls itself.
