Klaxons rang out as the ISA confirmed the presence of a large unidentified ship entering Republic space. Without the need for any human intervention, the automated system immediately sends out an alarm to Navy High Command. Still tracking the large vessel, the long-range sensors still cannot identify it as belonging to any previously-contacted nation - nor any kind of similarity with anything on record.

The response was quick and concise - it seems finally, the Republic had a respectable grasp over its own territory. Three ships, led by the Palisade frigate Dauntless, soon exit lightspeed a little more than 80,000 kilometers from the alien vessel.

The lead frigate and her two-corvette escort turn hard to starboard to face the colossal alien vessel. Immediately, they begin broadcasting their greeting on all frequencies…

“--Attention unidentified vessel, you have entered territory controlled by the Saharian Republic. Please identify yourselves and state your purpose in this sector.--”

Malevolently Benevolent Intruder

"Captain! Auspex registers three new vessels in the area; two ships are approximately one hundred and fifty meters in length, with the lead craft measuring twice that. Magos Alypias is reporting that the larger ship is broadcasting a message on all channels, cogitators are working to translate it now."
"Fire off a reply as soon as able, Commander. Keep an eye on those craft; if they appear to become hostile, we'll show them the error of their ways - not that they can scratch us to begin with."

The bulk of the battlecruiser rotates towards the xenos trio, engines powering up and slowly beginning to lumber towards the unknown contacts. At approximately 75,000 kilometers distant, the translation software of the Magos has completed its preliminary report - just enough to allow the Gallimimus to fire off a stilted reply.

"--Dominate explorator craft Gallimimus. Not friend. Not enemy. Peace.--"

The Republic of New Saharia

Starreach - Colonization I

By utilizing more straightforward terraforming methods as well as ramping-up the construction of habitat-stations, the upcoming buildup of colonists and pioneers spurred-on by the recent colonial exodus is being handled without difficulty. Instead of three large ‘batches’, Central Command opts for a more gradual and consistent sendoff of colony fleets.

“All of that is far easier said than done,” Joseph retorted. “There are untold numbers of marauders and vagabonds scattered throughout the galaxy; they’ve been around much, much longer than either of us. And destroying them has proven to be a nigh-insurmountable challenge, even for the Galaxy’s largest nations.”

William: “There are many places to hide in a Galaxy. And for an area as large - and as previously populated - as the Core, the entire region is effectively one massive miasma of warlord and raider factions from long-dead nations vying for control - or simply survival. There is a good reason as to why the majority of trade - up until now - has conveniently avoided it.”

William continued. “Of course, we could settle for simply circumventing the Core in its entirety. You’d never be able to nullify the threat of pirate attack on such a long journey, although a few escorts should suffice. But, a few escorts for nearly every trip back-and-forth is somewhat costly.”

"no, the Union has never before backed away when being threatened. if bandits and pirates wish to sack our trade, then it goes past simple trade and becomes a matter of principle. we shall go through the core with escort and the first time we are attacked, we shall declare a crusade to cleanse them. if we cannot get them all, hiding away like the rats they are, then we shall set such an example than none dare to ever attempt it again."

the Solarian Union begins anti piracy activities around it. so far, with only limited intel on them, it is hard to find the bandits, but the solarians are dedicated to the cause of cleaning such vermin. in addition, new outposts are set up and some worlds found in this manner would be perfect colonies, complete with a former pirate base to build off of.

Colonization 2

Kinmoon continues to colonize, taking several planetary bodies across the outskirts of their territory, and they begin a series of fortifications consisting of state of the art sensors, and A.I and manned defensive positions in key areas, gates are also constructed as well and new colonist ships are readied to settle the newer worlds nearby. The worlds would be regulated to agricultural and factory use, with orbital, suborbital, and ground facilities for weaponry and ship construction.

Commander Cosina was sitting down enjoying a nice shake while reading a book after all it's nearly day and she has to get some shut eye after spending all night navigating. Regardless, though she made a few discoveries that apparently, both their fears and hopes were realized that indeed found planets capable of supporting life that is able to be colonized without teraforming being needed. Subsequently, the near by area has been marked for an ideal spot for the expansion of the Union for colonization though on a way smaller scale then on New Hollow Shade. Regardless, their goal was to scout on and ensure their is no possible intelligent life on those planets or in that area of space thus, confirming that indeed their is no reason to not secure this area of space. Thus, a beacon was marked near the systems, to keep track of the location so the Union can when it has the opportunity can handle to issue of colonizing, with the mission complete Commander Cosina focused on her book while the exploration fleet returns to Union space.

Colonization 1

Following the exploration of the system the Union has begun setting up small colonies on areas initially outside its controlled space setting up small sized colonies on a 100 planets and moons this is a quite large expansion and was undertaken under the command of Commander Cosina securing the space of the area and ensuring the construction of proper defenses along the area and making it clear its part of Union Space now.

Upon teleporting to the other side of the door, Wilson wheeled around to realize the fact that he was, somehow, on the other side of the door. Seemingly without any movement, without any interaction. Riot Control in Neolim Asylum

A riot had transpired in the cafeteria caused by a gang fight between Cellblock 210 Occulitis and Cellblock 230 Anarcha after a massive agruement between the former Occulitis Leader Vladimir got his head caved in by Anarcha’s head menace Ronnie Driffield/Griffin and the gangs started fighting each other with makeshift pikes, knifes, and guns at one point causing Neolim Riot Control to be called, ah, Neolim Riot Control, the Head Warden’s finest and most elite guards.

Neolim Riot Control started beating most patients half to death, after the dust settled, Anarcha was about to be experimented on until Head Orderly Robert Picket got notified by Head Director Daniel Anderson that the experiments going on with the Occulitis almost cause a blackout, so the experiments had called off.

Head Orderly Robert Picket: “You maniacs got saved by the f-(king bell, not get back into your cells.”

Corporal Shadow "I would not exactly say teleport just traveled from shadow to shadow. True teleportation only unicorns and Alicorns, both are different subspecies then ours can do and that requires a lot of skill for them to do and is very draining. But all Thestrals can do travel from shadow to shadow and its not draining at all."

With Mechanicum fleets securing new worlds full of valuable resources necessary to fuel the furnaces of the Dominate, more explorators have set out to find habitable planets for the growing populace. Several dozen paradise worlds are discovered, in addition to a plethora of jungle and ice worlds - further, habitable planetoids are discovered in lieu of more proper planets, adding to the new real estate of the Dominate.

Colonization 2

Shortly after the prior colonization in galactic east of the former frontiers of the Union's space subsequently the next expansion focused its efforts towards the immediate north for its colonization efforts with even more planets and moons being found that are able to be colonized with only minor transforming needed to ensure their would be enough forests specific areas for more large creatures to inhabit that could be domesticated. Thus, began settling 100 more planets and Moons. However, much like the prior colonization efforts these colonies are very small in population and given proper tech to expand at a rate which is completely under control to ensure their is no massive ecological damage. Which meant that while they just like the other recent expositions in the previous colonial effort these planets will not be provinces for a long time but it will most defiantly will become ones in time when they sustain a sufficient population.

while operation continues on its own, the colony effort also continues. pirates were not own for capitalizing on existing resources, only on raiding those who had, and thus they had never sought to actually go looking for minimal deposits or other resources in the systems they controlled. this has led to prospectors finding many of them in these areas, leading to a newed boom as resource colonies spring up.

Joseph joined in. “It’s settled, then. In addition to a commercial pact, we will both combine our efforts to sweep nearby space clean of pirate scum. With our power combined, we can finally take the fight to the scum of the Galaxy.”

William: “This has been marvelously productive. However, I believe we are out of proposals. Ty Lee, is there anything that the Solarian Union would like to propose?”

She says "We probably aren't going to have to do that." She then smiles "After all the doors on the in the hanger are a bit shorter on purpose for this ship I think the reason is something related to making sure some subspeces and species from our home world cant get further in then the hanger. So do you want to go the library, the bar, the commander somewhere else?"

The Velrokinate of Kinmoon

Colonization 4

The colonization continues, Kinmoon has acquired several other planets and moons, and they begin mining asteroids in the area as well, hoping to acquire more resources for use in their new mega engineering products. A new guild has formed, focusing around the construction of these megastructures, and they will receive grants and funding from the government in their endeavors, as long as they are approved by the government.

Meanwhile, more colonists ships would be sent out as well, with citizens being paid to enlist in settlement of outlying worlds and in regions considered "dangerous".

Construction vehicles and drones release themselves from inside and outside of the vessels, setting up the pre-planned and Supercomputer-calculated foundations for Ryk civilization. To the relief of the Dautless’s Captain, the alien had indeed responded. If it wasn’t for the fact that the language-patterns were synonymous with Human ones, the translators would have had little to go on with such a short message.

“Not friend. Not enemy. Peace.”

And, peace it shall be. The lead Republic ship quickly sent back another message, this time translated in the xeno’s language…

“--Welcome to Republic space. Please avoid inhabited systems until official contact can be made. Does the Dominate agree?--”

Admittedly, the response could have been worded a bit more cordially. But the Republic had dispatched a frigate, not a diplomat.

The Republic of New Saharia

Following on the recent successes of the Solarian campaign, the Republic Navy begins making a series of small yet aggressive pushes towards the Core. Extensive recon revealed a number of marauder-infested systems, which would soon prove of little resistance to the advancing armada. However, such attacks must be conducted extremely swiftly - lest news of an incursion causes pirates in nearby systems to scatter to the wind…

Several habitable worlds are claimed by the Republic during this first push. Although most of them are uncomfortable for Saharians, terraforming should prove quite easy…
