Agreed. We should get off our butts and unionize, stage a protest, or something. You two go plan it all, and wake me up when you've got it done.

Hush, Z. Let Miss Chief bus all the tables ze wants. We'll consider that a server-adjacent role.

How about a Good Luck Charm to hold you over?

Dipping the rim of a cocktail glass in sugar, the shadow sets it aside. They add one and a half ounces bourbon whiskey, three fourths ounce limoncello, two ounces fresh lemon sour, and a few spearmint leaves, torn, into a shaker. The shaker disappears into the shadows, returning a few moments later well shaken and the drink is poured into the glass. A lemon wedge is added to the rim.

Enjoy!

Dicerolla takes one sip and starts repeatedly slamming her head(?) into the table....should probably just leave them alone for now.

The shadowy bartender looks a little put out that their hard work was overlooked but whatever. Moving on. They return to ignoring them.

Of course it is. "Beeswax" is filed between "Bees" and "Beelzebul." As for why we're organized, trust me: You don't want to get them confused. One of those is fun to have drinks with, and the other is a real pain. I'll let you decide which is which.

All questions are trick questions. The fun part is figuring out what their trick is. Do you want to see the one I taught to roll over and play dead?

Hint: It was that one.
