A suggestion for the future of Texas: a role play map. My old region and the new home of Evanereich has one, and it was incredible fun to play around with it. I would suggest a world map, but if you want to do a Texas map, make sure to slap maybe the Mediterranean Sea in the middle of it or something to make it interesting.

We had something like that, back in the day, but never really did anything with it.

The one that is used at The Region That Has No Big Banks is actively used. We just need to get people interested.

Set this precedent today and it applies to y'all, so I'm going to uphold it by publicly saying it here: If you ever visit Cincinnati, and have spoken to me here before, let me know. I offer Skyline Chili on me

With summer arriving, we're revisiting our soda poll. This time it's less popular/ discontinued brands.

Corporate switched suppliers several months back. Until recently, they've been mostly trouble-free. Last week there was no delivery on Thur and Friday's was much later than usual. An hour or so after the shipment arrived today, another pharmacy in the chain called to let us know they had one of our totes. Of course, it's the one needed to fill several scripts. Hopefully the "missing" tote arrives tomorrow.

Signed up to take the certification exam for Pharmacy Tech. I have about 2 months to study. If all goes well, it should open up several doors to better paying jobs.

As your long time friend would you give a discount on my prescriptions?

These clowns are screwing up deliveries of controlled substances? There's no way that's going to go wrong.

Is one of the questions about inventorying deliveries?

We can hardly wait to hear Issues Test Bed's review tomorrow of the premiere of The Chuck & Nancy & Elizabeth Show tonight. It should be a s-show with a capital S.

The Spring Nation of Trecdom2

I don't think there are many questions on the exam about inventories. All controlled meds have to be double-counted, and for C2 meds the bottle gets back counted, and a running inventory log is kept.

A college think tank started the latest talking point among Marxist college activists. Quoting from The College Fix, we are treated to the following wisdom: "We encourage businesses to re-think hiring procedures and remove the stigmas associated with non-traditional degrees."[1]

Let us consider this for a moment. We have a freshly minted grad with a masters degree in Native American Natural Healing Methods and Substances. If that person applies to General Motors, this group would like to see GM pass over several dozen outstanding candidates with MBA's in favor of the peyote expert.

There's no way that is going to go wrong. What do you think?

I'd rather have those companies hire people like that so they can fire them for lack of qualifications and being a Greater then Thou attitude. I'd love to hear a Hiring manager ask these folks why they were fired. Plus In reality I wouldn't want them hired because I'm having trouble getting into my field with a BA in History and Minor in Criminal Justice.

The problem with hiring these self entitled snot nosed little brats is that with that sense of entitlement comes a strong desire and willingness to litigate. Like running to their momma to tell on someone, they litigate at the drop of the hat, right or wrong. Being fired is far more than a drop of the hat. Even if there is no legal basis for those baseless lawsuits, defending legal actions is ridiculously expensive. Not hiring them is probably the safest bet.
