Howdy Y'all! It is a right pleasure to be here. Got the name I couldn't get 7,111 days ago! Lots of names opening up. Mark your calendars if you have always wanted something. Check The Boneyard.

We had another mission yesterday, aside from a mix up over when the plane was landing all went well. Much prefer pulling up to a C17 over a tanker. A, you're not as high up. B, with the tail ramp it's easier to see what's happening as you're not as close to the fuselage

***** Texas Saturday Breakfast *****

Taco Time! Are you ready for some Saturday Breakfast, still All-Fresh? Bring out the Drones! The NewTexas Happy Taco Stands, in conjunction with the NewTexas Incendiary Corporation, has approximately 1 trillion of the fastest, lightest drones you have ever seen. This fleet is specially designed to deliver tacos to every man, woman, child, whatever, in Texas, all 2,599,633,000,000 of you.

Today's special breakfast will Saturday Pork Rib & Egg & Cheese Breakfast Tacos [COVID-19 Week CXVIII Edition]! The Head Smoker at the NewTexas Happy Taco Stands got started a day early for this special taco. He stayed up all night the night before smoking a couple of hundred million tons of Berkshire Pork St. Louis Ribs just so that he could put them in the fridge, a really, really big one. Last night all the meat was removed from the bones to make this glorious taco. The rib meat is gently heated in the notorious black cast iron skillets with diced potatoes and red onions to form a hash that is then gently placed upon a pile of hearty, rich, yellow, genuine Texas Grade AA scrambled eggs! The hardy mix is wrapped up nice and snugly in not one, but two sturdy corn tortillas, made fresh, in-house, with love. A whole egg in every taco!®

Today's Special Salsa is - Chile Quemado - a fiery roasted salsa made from tomatoes, onions, garlic, and jalapeños roasted fresh on the grill. A sealed cup of Texas-made Monterrey Jack cheese is also included in case you need a cheese fix. The tacos are hermetically-sealed in a Stay-Warm® pouch that is wrapped in the same ol' aluminum foil we are all so familiar with for our breakfast taco. The Juice Bar will not be possible this week. But, for your beverage needs, a packet of Sanka, Tang and a Lipton Tea bag will be included with every delivery as well as salt and pepper and a napkin. Yes, it is different, but it works and you do not even have to leave your residence. Woo! And, watch out for the drones! Start your day off the right way; munch out and go back to sleep. You know you want to!®

Stay Safe Texas. Stay Well.

Usually, it is about meeting your fellow Texans and talking about the latest and most interesting stuff in NationStates at the moment. But then again, sometimes NationStates does not even come up. It is wide-open chatting with peeps from around The World both IRL and NS. It is Texans, EuroTexans, WannabeTexans, ex-Texans, VirtualTexans, and plenty of Friends of Texans. Question are we going to wait for the next regional elections to replace Safj as Sec of WA Affairs or can we have a special election to selcet a temporary Sec of WA Affairs until Safj's current term is up?

In my opinion, we might as well hold a general election soon. However, that decision is above my pay grade.

Happy Fourth of July Texas! Here's hoping you have a fun, safe, and BBQ-filled 4th! Cheers!

Is anybody doing anything fun this Fourth of July? Our Fourth tradition is to watch the movie Independence Day. We are going to try some Waygu Burgers for the first time. There will probably be some good ol' Oscar Meyers involved as well.

The Spring Nation of Trecdom2

We're working today, so no formal run. We did do 2 miles on our own early this morning. This afternoon we have a family get together.

We've been watching Gettysburg, and plan on watching Omega Glory from Star Trek this evening

Drove from Florida to Dodgeville, Wisconsin.

Got a better chance of having The Bruce scarf those snacks up. In fact, for your own safety, don't get between The Bruce and those snacks while saying anything bad about the Dixie Chicks.

Not fourth of July related but I have an online friend visiting from Cleveland later this week. Exciting stuff!

Got to tell you, I really like The Orville. The episode from the first season, Majority Rule, was extraordinarily good. The premise is that just about everything one does in public is subject to up or down votes by anyone and everyone either physically present, or watching from afar. People with too many down votes find themselves effectively canceled in society, and in severe cases on trial for their lives.

Talk about a commentary on today's social media networks. From what I understand, China already comes very close to that reality. Scary.
