Meanwhile On Mars... While Slavion below is facing the worst crisis yet, the Mars colony is doing better then ever. Three major developments have been made that have durastically furthered progress on mars: 1. Martian Malleable Concrete - Concrete made from materials on mars has proven to be extremely robust and malleable, with it being able to be used in large-scale 3D living space printers to rapidly construct new buildings. 2. Martian Soil Detox - Scientists have finally found a way to detoxify the Martian soil, using a mix of Genetics to create hardier plants, as well as general detoxification, plants can now gorw in Martian Soil (of course, in an indoor environment) 3. Martian Rare Metals - Rare Metals, atleast on earth, have been found in abundance on Mars.
With these new discoveries, especially with the new metals, the Mars colony is now requesting a shipment from Arkangel Station for a borehole drill to construct an underground railroad to these rare earth metals.
Launch of Module Beta Despite wartime operations, the Dogian Space Agency has still been active. Module Beta, the station's ring shaped habitation module, has been launched and installed with Module Alpha.
Complete Societal Collapse... Following raising concerns about the final stores of food on the Island in supermarkets and distrubution Warehouses running out, all sense of decency has left many of the poeple still alive in Slavion. Many people now flock to supermarkets where personal militia's and gangs control and distribute the food. Many flock to the Islands international airports with the ground forces struggeling to hold on, with the Navy attempting to regain control of major ports which are fences off to the public.
Beginning of refugee program As the infantry have reached the captured airport (on north island), a refugee program has been established. Slavionian citizens able to work with no technocratic union ties and minimal criminal record may emigrate to Cheems Doge. Extensive background checks will be done in order to ensure no terrorist intentions. Slavionian citizens under this scheme that have commited crimes while in Cheems Doge may be deported back to Slavion depending on severity.
Opeartion Firestorm The Militaraian Government has begun Operation Firestorm this Operation details a full-scale military invasion of the Mainland of Slavion to talk full control the of the capital and to restore order to the region, Military forces have begun moving out of the airport towards the government buildings with street fighting beginning on the outer areas of the city, The Militaraian air force has also begun bombing known enemy targets within slavion.
Operation Valor With the navy prepared, the remaining units of the Slavionian Ground Forces meet up with the amphibious assult unit of the Militaraian Army launch an attack on the Capital City of Atlantis, attempting to regain control. The attack is mostly successful with Minimal Casualties, the only slowdown is the mass influx to refugees to captured areas. Following that, a push for the burnt remains in the Slavionian Parlimentary Building. Harsh fighting occurs with stolen Slavionian urban comabt tanks attempt to counter the attack but the battle is eventually won.
A technocratic flag is found flying with several criminal gang insignia's, the flags are taken down and replaced with both the Slavionian Armed Forces Insignia, and the Militarian Flag.
Request to extend refugee operation The Dogian Defence Force has requested permission from Militarai to set up operations in the Militarai-controlled International Airport and some surrounding buildings, in order to extend the reach of the refugee program announced earlier.
Temporary Government Established A temporary government has been established with the Atlantis High Court being its headquaters. The government consists of a few armed forces members, and Militarian Politicians sent until Slavionian ones can replace them. Slavion will act as a protectorate under the country of Militarai until it can actively protect itself, which it is then expected that Militarai lifts its influence from Slavionian Politics.
Dogian Army units will remain on the northern island, taking the role of a sort of police force, following orders from the new temporary government to maintain order. The naval blockade to the northern island will be lifted. once Slavion is back on its feet, the units will withdraw.
Live From Mars Recent news from the newly founded "MarsFM", planetwide radio now available with a 20 minute delay on earth, announced a grand milestone for humanity... The First Martianborn.
This means, for the first time in Human History, a person has been born on another planet. The first martianborn, James Davidson, is destined to grow up a well known and documented person as scientists develop an understanding of what being born on a different celestial body.
Order, somewhat, Restored With the introduction of an essential 'puppet government' from militarai, the Armed forces have quickly begun restoring order to the enormous city. Many members of the Technocratic Rebellion found themselves being hunted down by vengeful citizens and law enforcers alike, only to be publicly exectued before they can be extrodited to Cheems. Slavionian Law Enforcement is now somewhat beign established, with a navy luitentant taking place as temporary police cheif.
Terrorists Gone The Technocratic Terrorists have finnally been rounded up... all 10,000 of them. Apparently they operated in a community-based hierachy, and there are reports of many, many more still yet to be found. The first groups are now being boarded into Slavionian Floating Prison, Wonderland. It is a new, repurposed themepark, refit into a large floating fortress. Theoretically Its inescapable, as lifeboats have stationed guards at all times, however the prison abuses a slight loophole in slavionian law which allows them to neglect human rights whilst in international waters. The ship will be departing, escorted by Slavionian Coast Guard, to Cheem's vladivostok port.
