Ephraim walks through the streets of a Powerian city, he's looking for something, but has yet to find it, it wasn't in DeltaSource, and the only other place associated with his past is the DoP. As he's walking he hears and explosion, looking up, he sees a building falling towards him, he panics, calls out Eurus, who creates a barrier around him and nearby people, as he braces himself, holding his hands over his face.....nothing happens. He opens his eyes again and sees everything is normal, but what was that??? He looks around, confused.
"You ok?"
a man asks, Ephraim looks at him confused.
"Yeah...I'm fine."
"Well, I don't know what happened, but whatever you did looked impressive."
Ephraim winces as he calls back Eurus. "Thanks, I have to go now."
"..."
The man falls silent, and everyone stops moving, Ephraim waves his hand in front of the man's face, no response. Suddenly, a sword flies into the ground, creating a crater, incinerating people as a circle of flames flies off the sword. Kyogya descends and picks up his sword, flourishing it before pointing it at Ephraim.
"I finally meet my other half."
Ephraim takes a step back before summoning Eurus again, "Who are you?"
"I go through all the effort to make myself as recognizable as possible, and yet you still can't see it? I am Kyogya, lord of destruction, and the slayer of gods. I've come to claim you, my other half. Make me whole again, and we can fulfill our calling."
"Which is what exactly?"
"The destruction of this pathetic world, none of it deserves to exist."
"Heh, sorry, but I've kinda taken a liking to it."
"So you have made your allegiance clear, you have chosen death." he runs his hand across his sword, it glows red as ancient Deltan text appears on it. "I will claim your body and soul as my trophy, and be reunited with my full power!"
Time resumes and people see Kyogya. They run in terror as a burst of flames comes off his body, Eurus protects Ephraim and draws his own sword.

Kyogya rushes forward engaging Eurus in combat. The two fight in the air, as police arrive.

Ephraim himself barely avoids being incinerated. The sky turns black and the clouds start to swirl. Kyogya feints and stabs Eurus, Ephraim doubles over in pain, wondering why he feels the same pain as Eurus. Eurus dissipates and his sword falls to the ground. Kyogya lands in front of Ephraim and lifts him up by his neck, strangling him.
"Estuans is a powerful blade, is it not? It not only kills, but inflicts pain to those connected to its victims, however, I'm sure we'll see Eurus again, as he's simply a soul in your arsenal." Kyogya slams Ephraim into the ground as the flames all around die down. Ephraim closes his eyes as Kyogya lifts up Estuans to deliver the final blow as a gunshot is heard. The bullet goes through Kyogya's chest, he roars in pain and turns around. Arsene stands there, gun in hand.

'What are you doing!?!?!?! Didn't I tell you the power levels we're dealing with here!?'
"We're fine" Arsene mumbles back to Hermit.
'Let me say it again, He's a 5!! That's as high as it goes, he's on the same level as gods here Arsene! There's no way you can hope to defeat him, you likely only made him angry!'
"We'll see."

Kyogya stumbles a little before seemingly teleporting in front of Arsene
"You dare challenge me mortal!?"
Kyogya moves to stabe Arsene, but he rolls out of the way and runs back a bit. Kyogya soon corners him, stabbing him and lifting him off the ground with his sword.
"No one......attacks me...and get's away with i-"
Kyogya winces in pain and looks down, Eurus' sword is now through his heart.
"Fade to memory." Ephraim whispers in his ear as he pulls the sword out.
Kyogya laughs "I will never be a memory." his body rapidly changes to that of another, as Kyogya's soul leaves behind its body. The man is recognized as a police officer.
"I will never fade into obscurity, I will prevail."
Kyogya's voice booms from the sky as it returns to normal. Ephraim kneels down and heals Arsene as more police arrive.

Edmund grumbles as his opponent leans back. He had been winning the strategy game they were playing up until this point. He hadn't noticed Cyril's forces build up in the east, as his focus was on Cyril's main force.
"This is a waste of time."
"You're the one who initiated the game Ed, I don't know what to tell you."
This makes Edmund angry, but he keeps quiet...'I could crush him if I wanted to....but that'd be a waste.'
Yelena is reading a book in the other corner of the room. Typically, students at the officer's academy are grouped into squads of fours, but this year there wasn't enough to satisfy that demand. Cyril looks at her. "What are you reading your highness?"
Yelena doesn't answer. Cyril gets up much to the annoyance of Edmund and walks over to Yelena "Hey, your highness."
Yelena looks up "Sorry, Cyril, what did you need?"
"Nothing, nothing, just wondering what you were reading, more of that book about the hero king?"
"Yes, it is quite interesting to note though, for all the wars and conquering he did, we're ever told about how he governed."
Cyril looks back at Edmund who clearly isn't paying attention, nor caring about the conversation, but rather focused on the board.
"If you as me your highness, I think he was a much more benevolent rule than your dear old man."
Yelena looks mildly shocked that he didn't address her father by his title, but doesn't say anything, knowing that he doesn't mean harm in saying it that way. Cyril walks back over to Edmund and sits down, making his move. The game continues a bit, before ending in a draw.

The police are investigating the scene of a crime. A body was found, tied upside down to a light post. similar instances had occurred in DeltaSource, the Legion, and Makasta. Now in the DoP. A detective inspects the chains keeping the body in place, before turning to his trainee "They're just simple chains you could get at any hardware store, and they are wiped, we won't find anything on the chains." the Detective fiddles with the chains some more, accidentally freeing the body, causing it to drop. The detective winces as he climbs down the ladder.
"Sorry bud....well...that's one way to get him down."
He turns to his trainee "Marianne, get me a body bag and help me get him in it, I don't want to leave him out for longer than we have to."
"Yes sir."
As the detective waits, he gets a call from HQ "Yeah, hello?"
"Detective Piers, we have an update on that case you wanted."
"Oh, you do? Thanks a million...I need that."
"Though, would you mind telling me why you are so interested in finding Nero? You haven't even been assigned to the case."
"He took my brother, I just want to do what I can, plus, 'Ace Detective Claude Piers' has a nice ring to it, wouldn't you say?"
"...really?"
"Listen, that's not as important right now though, I'm bringing back a body for an autopsy report, it was found hanging upside down from a light post."
"Odd...but ok, we'll prepare a room."
"Thanks, I'll be there soon."
He hangs up as Marianne returns. They put the body in the bag and move it to their vehicle, loading it in and driving back to the HQ.

Welcome to the Atlantis Winter Games
Held 1st February 2021 to commemorate the 18th Anniversary of Atlantis.

To Commemorate the 18th Anniversary of Atlantis, Winter Games have been proposed to bring nations sporting heroes together to foster friendship and peace between their nations. The Games will begin on 1st February 2021.

The Host
The Games will take place at the snow-enveloped Lemming Mountains in The Teachings of Lemmingtopias. The Lemming Mountains, in the North of the country, have for millennia been considered sacred ground and are dotted with monasteries, temples, academies, hermitages and thousands of shrines to the Hellenic gods and Lemmingtopian mystic spirits. The largest complex is the Winter Palace, which will serve as a backdrop to the sporting events and which is the min residence of His Holiness the Lemming Sage outside of the Capital. The Winter Palace is also the resting place of the mummified body of the Divine and Perpetual Emperor Lomax during the winter months. Medal recipients and select dignitaries will be invited to a private audience with the Emperor in his mausoleum.

Athletes, Dignitaries and spectators will arrive at the Lomax Winter Station after a journey from any major city or airport in Lemmingtopias. From here, a funicular railway takes you high above the station to the Winter Palace Complex. Limited access to the Helipad can also be arranged on request. Here, Athletes will be welcome by the Lemming Sage prior to being transported to their team facilities and the athlete village. Rooms are available at the Winter Palace for foreign dignitaries. With the exception of a few pensions near to the winter palace, Hotels for spectators are available at any of the nearby Mountain Towns, most being around one hour's transportation to the site of the Games by rail or coach.

The ancient stone amphitheater has been extended with temporary seating to allow for the Opening and Closing Ceremonies while modern venues for the sports already exist and have been upgraded for the occasion. To ensure the safety of the ancient and sacred site, special routes have been laid out for spectators to follow with free tickets required to access the Winter Palace Complex or any of the nearby monasteries and temples. Temporary facilities have been installed to make the area comfortable for visitors as well as to ensure the safety of the site. Some mountain peaks have also been made available for visitor climbing.

The Games
Several Events across four sports will take place:

• Ice Hockey

• Figure Skating

• Cross Country Skiing

Any Nation in Atlantis or a region with an Embassy with Atlantis is welcome to participate. Puppets are also welcome.

To Participate, please telegram The Teachings of Lemmingtopias.

In your telegram, you may also choose the skill levels for each of the four sports. This is not mandatory and if you do not do so, the default 25 skill will be applied to each sport. Each Skill level should be between 15 and 35 and the total across all 4 sports should be 100. You can also give a style modifier for your Ice Hockey Team between -5 (Ultra Defensive) and +5 (Ultra Aggressive) if you wish.
