Well when you call someone a disbeliever based on how they speak, then it is pretty hypocritical when you basically speak the exact same back.

Reborn ottoman sultan

After reading the crass commentary on the message board, I will try to break the ice by discussing areas of shared mutual interest currently facing our world. It is amazing! We have a multitude of avenues to vast depths of knowledge, yet misinformation combined with disinformation prevail unrelentingly. In this day and age, we can walk away with one certainty: there is little to no excuse for ignorance. Yet, what is to be done about such disparities? This is best described as an existential question that will perplex mankind for generations. Through that realization, it seems obvious; the sheer abundance of information stands as no indication that we can digest let alone manage it simultaneously. Information is not indicative of knowledge just as knowledge is not indicative of information.

Exactitudes aside, Allah (swt) says in the Quran, "indeed man is an ingrate." That statement is all too indicative of human nature. With the ongoing curfews observed to combat the novel corona-virus, we cannot help but to wonder, how will man's functional cultural influences impact how the species responds to pandemics? Some of us are in denial while others are inclined to overreact. Plagues have been with us since the beginning of time which remind us of our shared mortality. A retreat from the servility of everyday life could be viewed as a blessing in disguise. It allows for a reevaluation of our lives and the priorities that support them. Are we on the right track? Have we been focused on the right values? Once this pandemic subsides, will we walk away with a permanently changed attitude toward our creator, man, & civilization?

Or will it simply be back to business as usual? Time will tell...
