He's not breaking his lore. He literally said that the term exists as an artificial, OOC construction intended to take the place of a better suited name that he'll have to think of in the future. Key's in the word "placeholder".

It's mainly used to fill up say, website templates with non-distracting text to see how it all looks like. Lorem ipsum isn't synonymous with all placeholders, but here it works in context.

And you weren't constructively criticizing him either, as was established in his explanation of why "South Russia" was the term he was using.

Don't change the topic. I'm pretty sure you were put in the same spot when MU kept lambasting you over that canal proposal, so you ought to know what it means to be continually beaten down over a point that you never even made. Just acknowledge that what you did could have been inflammatory, and JR's reaction was perfectly warranted given the circumstances.
