Heydar Aliyev International Airport, Baku, Azerbaijan Oblast

The sun had already set in the clear sky, painting the horizon in a rich red/orange hue, contrasting with the royal blue the rest of the sky had become. Traffic to the large international airport was forced to move to the side of the road as a government motorcade sped towards the terminal. They all drove immediately to the runway, with the massive jet belonging to the nation's monarch waiting patiently on the runway. The armored vehicles, numbering eight in total, all stopped near the jet, at which point the drivers came out and opened the doors.

Several high ranking members of the Russian government or military stepped out of each car. Out of the last car stepped Empress Lelia herself, wearing a white dress with the Russian red star pinned to the center of her chest, much like her mother often wore. She walked forward towards her plane, though stopped when she noticed who was waiting for her. Her sister Natasha wearing her uniform was waiting at the top of the stairs that led to the plane's door.

Once everyone had walked inside, the stairs were taken away and the pilots informed everyone to take their seats. Lelia went to her private quarters of the jet, with Natasha following her silently. Once they were alone, she finally removed her helmet and took a seat on a chair, her now orange eyes waiting for Lelia to make herself comfortable. Once Lelia had sat down and poured them both drinks, she finally said something.

"Didn't expect to see you here, Nat. What's the occasion?" She asked.

"Mother thought it best that I provide some security." Natasha replied, sipping vodka. "Baku is already at risk from the rebels. It wasn't exactly safe for you to be here."

Lelia just sighed, leaning back in her chair.

"Coming to a place so close to the battle is good for morale. One of these days, mother will have to realize that I can take care of myself." She said, chuckling a little. "Still, it's good to see you."

Natasha was silent, just continuing to drink calmly.

"How did the meeting go then?"

"The regional governor is afraid of impending invasion by the rebels." Lelia said, though she spoke nonchalantly. "He wants us to spend less resources on Germany and more resources on defending the south."

    "And?"

"General Rebecca has expressed her belief that this is a prime opportunity to march on Berlin." Lelia said.

"Rebecca, huh? She's one of Helena's daughters right?" Natasha asked. "I'm not surprised she's so gung-ho about conquering Germany given her background."

"Absolutely. She's just as ferocious as both her parents. What's more, I think she's excited since she'll have the chance to work with the French." Lelia said.

"The EIF is getting involved? I'm surprised you're allowing this considering your greed." Nat said.

It was the sort of comment Lelia could potentially kill someone over, but due to the two of them being sisters and good friends, she just took it as a joke.

"Well I want to live up to mother's glory, you know? But at the same time, victory is what's most important. Our European allies can assure that." She said. "More importantly, think about how it would look if this country conquered such vast territory so close to our French allies. They could be threatened. I want to show them that we mean no harm to them. Sure, it might mean that we end up giving up a little it more territory, but I believe that it's worth it."

Natasha fell silent, choosing not to argue about that sort of thing. As much as she had studied just about everything there was to know, politics and international relations definitely wasn't the thing she enjoyed speaking about most. However, Lelia appeared to be enjoying their talk, so didn't let the silence persist for too long.

"You usually complete missions with Trisha nowadays. Where is she now?" She asked.

Natasha thought for a few moments, remembering the last time she and Trisha had been summoned before Sasha.

"She was already sent to India to assist in espionage and assassination. Along with general enforcement of Russian law and supervision of death camps." She said calmly. "She'll likely remain there for the duration of the civil war. From what I've heard she is really enjoying herself. Even giving some of the scum the honor of being executed by her hand."

"My my, how generous she is. She always was the softy between us siblings." Lelia said, being quite bubbly despite the subject. "Is mother not going to send you to Germany? I'm sure you're itching to get your hands dirty too."

"I go where I'm ordered to go by my master. I am happy to go anywhere and do anything for her." Natasha replied. "That said..."

A rather sadistic smile crept onto her face as she thought of going to Germany, something she had dreamed of for years by then.

"...being sent to Germany would probably be a lot of fun..."

      Six Months Later.

      The Moscow Kremlin

"Her Majesty was right about the South and Germany."

"She is Sasha's daughter after all. To be the daughter of a goddess, their instinct for war is almost unnatural."

"Do you really believe Sasha is actually a goddess?"

"What are you crazy?! You can't say that in this building! And besides...you've seen how gigantic that woman is. And she looks just as young now as she did 50 years ago. At the very least she's clearly not human..."

"All her children as well. They're all so big and yet they're so young. Lelia in particular...dwarfs the rest."

A group of people sat around a table waiting for their leader to arrive. All of them high ranking members of the military who had been summoned to deliver updates regarding the situation in the south and the ongoing war with Germany. Many of the men in the room were discussing the Empress and her mother. As well as the siblings that they had seen very rarely. Normally they'd never speak of Sasha or her family in such a way, but seeing as Lelia was late to the meeting, they had a bit more free reign, though many still said nothing.

"Rebecca, Tomoe, you've both been silent. Don't you have anything to say while we have a bit of freedom?" One of them asked.

Rebecca, the daughter of Helena Ibramovic, scowled at the man who addressed her. Clearly she had inherited the traits of Helena more so than Svietlana. Her eyes and hair both were red and her skin was pale, though she was also taller than her mother. She had also inherited Helena's sharp tongue and harsh personality.

"Shut your mouth. I have better things to think about than the ramblings of foolish old men." She said.

Tomoe remained silent as she sat next to Rebecca, her eyes closed as she listened to what was said. Despite her personality and Rebecca's being quite different, both managed to make some of the older generals in the room quite angry. None of them liked the idea of people so young having such powerful positions, even if both Rebecca and Tomoe had been proven more than capable of handling their work. In Tomoe's case, it didn't exactly help that she was Japanese. Nor was she entirely human either. Her condescending attitude infuriated some of the people there, making them start gossiping rather openly about them.

"I bet you Rebecca only has her position because she's a childhood friend of Lelia." One of them said. "Not to mention her mother is childhood friends with Empress Sasha. She was basically born into this position."

"Yeah but at least she's Russian. Lady Tomoe over there is a Jap. We should have wiped them out years ago. They're just like the Germans if you ask me."

"I heard shes got a thing going with that one French woman who was in the Navy. The Queen now."

"She couldn't even have the decency to marry a Russian man? Well I guess it's not too bad. As long as the blood of those of us in the north isn't diluted, it's probably a good thing if the Japs don't mingle too much."

Throughout this whole conversation, Tomoe had never moved from her position, her eyes remaining closed the whole time. Rebecca was grinding her teeth in anger, but had been told by her mother before to hold her temper back, which she did by eating sweets. Even despite everything that was being said.

"Listen here, Tomoe. Even if Sasha gave you your position and Lelia is letting you keep it, you make one slip u-"

The man talking was cut off by the door to the room suddenly opening, with the sitting Empress Lelia standing just behind it. She walked inside and had the door close behind her, with all the generals and admirals that were previously talking falling dead silent. Lelia went and sat on the large chair that had been prepared for her, getting comfortable before looking around the room.

"Pardon my tardiness. My mother wished to speak with me about a few matters. You may begin your briefing."

With this order given, Rebecca began to speak first, seeing as most of everyone else seemed afraid to. As predicted, the rebellious forces to the south had proven to be a minor threat in the grand scheme of things. Field Marshal Peter, the man who had threatened Tomoe earlier, had managed to have his armies capture the city of Tehran, or so he had reported. In reality he had had little to do with the actual positioning of the armies, having instead his subordinates such as Rebecca do it, though he claimed the credit. In contrast to the earlier half of the century when the country was very often at war with adversaries of similar power, recent times had meant that people such as him had risen to such positions following their predecessor's retirement.

Despite not receiving credit however, Rebecca continued to describe the army situation to her leader and childhood friend. As well as the armies dealing with secessionists in the south, a branch had also been sent into German controlled Iraqi territory through the Caucasus. In the north the Russian armies had also pushed quite deep into Germany's territory, capturing Romania and eastern Poland whilst pushing into Greece. The entire discussion about the army's exploits alone too several hours, by the end of which Rebecca and the few others who assisted in her briefing were quite tired. Empress Lelia appeared to not be fatigued at all, instead just nodding and looking to the Navy and Air Force commanders for their reports.

As soon as the Navy was addressed, Tomoe's eyes rather lazily opened and she started describing the movements of her forces. In essence, she simply had them bombard the secessionist territories, though made a point to avoid the cities themselves and instead aim for oil refineries and air bases. Her breifing lasted less than an hour, possibly due to the fact that she was so lethargic and wanted to get it over with. So lethargic in fact that as soon as she was done her eyes closed again while the various heads of the air force described their own operations, which in comparison to the Navy were quite extensive due to their constant bombing behind any borders.

"Seems I was correct then about the secessionists being of little importance." Lelia said, once everyone was done. "And the fact that they're receiving assistance from Germany allows us to knock out those filth as well. Seems we were quite blessed. I expect a conclusion to this war within the next two years. You are all dismissed. We'll meet again to further discuss strategy in approximately two months."

Everyone nodded and began funneling out of the room, though Lelia had Tomoe and Rebecca remain behind to talk for a little while.

"I apologize for how your peers and superiors are giving you trouble." Lelia said. "Normally I'd dispose of such people but seeing as we're in the middle of a war, perhaps it is best to wait."

"My only goal is keeping this country safe." Rebecca said. "If that means having old fools accept credit for my achievements then so be it."

"I guess you always were kind of mature back when we were kids." Lelia replied, chuckling. "From what I was told your mom would have killed that man for speaking to you that way."

"I wanted to kill them myself, but I didn't think you'd be too happy." She replied. "Besides, now isn't exactly the time to be picking fights with people."

"True. There will always be time for that after the war." Lelia said. "And what about you Tomoe. You were quite quiet the whole time."

The grey haired woman looked up at Lelia for a moment before yawning and deciding to say something.

"The cold climate here around this time of year doesn't exactly agree with my body." She said. "I'm just a little fatigued. And besides as long as he didn't insult Ms. Mervay, then I am perfectly content."

"Speaking of which, I'd like you to speak to her after this." Lelia said. "Seeing as you're so close with the sitting French queen, I'm sure you'd be going to visit her some time soon anyway. When you do, ask her for me about what exactly she'd like to do regarding Germany once the war ends. It gives you an excuse to go see her during this busy time, yes?"

Tomoe paused, but nodded after a few moments, quite looking forward to the opportunity.

"That's settled then. Both of you are doing very good jobs. You can expect pay raises once the war is over." Standing to leave.

The two women nodded to their leader, following her outside. Tomoe herself immediately went to the airport to go back to Japan and prepare for her trip to France. Rebecca on the other hand boarded a military flight to Warsaw to oversee the army's operations in the area, something she had been assigned to do by Lelia. Perhaps to give Rebecca a chance to show her worth without having credit stolen by her superiors.

Temporary Russian Military Installment, Outskirts of Warsaw, Poland

The plane carrying Rebecca landed on the makeshift runway near the city of Warsaw. In the distance she could hear the sounds of explosions as enemy forces were bombarded by Russian artillery units. Once the plane's door opened, she was immediately met by Natasha, who was to be her personal guard for the duration of her stay there. Of course, Rebecca did not know Natasha's actual identity and knew her only as the First Sister, with Sister being a title bestowed upon certain people by Sasha herself. She was led to the building that had been turned into the command center for the armies in that area. Rebecca sat down behind her desk then looked up at Natasha.

"I'm surprised Lelia even had the authority to assign you as a guard for me." She said. "What were you doing here before anyway?"

"I was tasked by Lord Sasha to hunt down any Germans hidden in our captured territory." Natasha said from behind her mask. "One of the most enjoyable assignments I have had to date."

"You seem to carry a stronger hate towards the Germans than most of us Russians." Rebecca said. "Care to elaborate?"

Natasha was silent for a few moments, then sat down and started messing around with a rubix cube, make it float in her hands while she was solving it.

"They are trash and stand in the way of Lord Sasha's dream of perfecting humanity." She said. "Few of them are worth keeping alive."

Rebecca didn't say anything for a few seconds, eventually just shrugging.

"I can't say I disagree. I care little for the Germans." She said. "I do what I do because I love my country and my people. And I want to make my mothers happy."

"Then we have similar motives." Nat said. "It's rather unfortunate that I can no longer hunt them down while you're here, but at the very least I was assigned to guard someone who is worth guarding. So tell me, how much German territory is to fall under Russian control after the war?"

"Empress Lelia has sent Lady Tomoe to speak with Queen Juliette about that very thing." Rebecca replied. "Chances are it is split half and half in Europe. What the French do with Germans in their land is out of our control."

It seemed to bother Natasha a little, but eventually she just nodded and continued messing with her rubix cube.

    "Hopefully they share our sentiment..."

      1 Month Later, Paris, EIF

Tomoe's private jet flew over the airspace above Paris, having given a request to the international airport to land. The purpose of Tomoe being there was quickly given to the French governemnt, with her jet landing at the airport and waiting on the runway for permission to taxi and have her brought to the Palace of Versailles.

It has been a few months since the beginning of the war between Germany and The EIF in the Western Front. The Imperial Forces advanced through German Territory in a massive campaign all over the front, not giving the Germans any breathing room like earlier in the war after their failed assault on Strasbourg in a failed campaign to force the federation to the defensive during the war to focus more in the unstoppable Russian Advance.

The Imperial Federation's counterattack begun with great success in the Northern Western Front, overruning the Dutch lands and having it's major victories related to the offensive position of the war after the successful defense of Strasbourg; Those major victories were the battles of Amsterdam, The Hague, Den Helder and Rotterdam. The disaster of the German Defense in Den Helder was the worst of all as it caught a considerable part of the German Fleet Channel Fleet off guard by a massive bombing campaign coordinated by The EIAF and EIN Naval Aviation focused in sinking all ships and military facilites around the area before the European Imperial Marines landed and took the city with relative ease. All that momentum was transfered to the advance in homeland Germany itself with the long term objective of the advance being Hamburg, but priority was given to Wilhelmshaven, one of Germany's deep water ports and major base for the Atlantic Fleet, the Imperial Navy was confident that it could take out the German Navy in open sea, but any open conflict should be left to be planned and by luring them out of port.

Meanwhile in the central parts of the front, the offensive against The German Army was successfully showing results as The European Forces broke through the defenses of the enemy and taking in a difficult but worth battle, the Rhine Valley. Part of Germany was already under European control and with no signs of stopping, like if they had their mission set. And that was Berlin. Guess there was a race going on.

Meanwhile the Austrian Front begun slow and had it's setbacks as the German Forces took advantage of the terrain and fought cleverly, giving it's European counterparts a headche as they were fortified and made sure to not give up easily the territory, making the entire front end in a style of trench warfare around the mountains for a few months meanwhile the mountain troops analyzed the best course and trying to find a weak spot from where to make the crossing easy and make sure to break the statlement and make sure no guerrilla warfare happened around the area.

The Dalmatian-Balkan Front meanwhile. It begun quickly as the Air Force and Navy attacked all the positions along the coast, making sure to destroy all enemy positions while the army was advancing through Trieste all the way to Zagreb taking a rest, and stablishing a much stable line while a landing campaign happened in the south around Albania; it proved to be a success as it meant that the Germans had to deal with a six front war and it was in a position where it could threaten it's logistics with the middle eastern territories if not kept in check.

It's fleet in the mediterranean also had to endure to fend off all attacks against them by the Europeans If they got out of their defensive perimeter around the eastern part of the sea, making combat against such fleet impossible unless stealth planes were used. It was a tense fight around there that will endure for a while...

    Six Months Later.

    Élysée Palace, Paris, EIF.

The next meeting wasn't surprisingly in Versailles, but rather in the Élysée Palace in Paris, traditionally since The Revolution of 1848 the residence of The President of France, and when the De La Croix Family or as they were known incognito back then as Da Mervay family took power two years later as the new monarchs, of the Prime Minister, and still does so today.

They were all brought to a meeting room in the palace where they would discuss national matters alongside the most important issue on the table, the war with Germany.

The presents were no others than the Prime Minister of The EIF, The Minister of Defence, The Minister of Economy and Finances, The Heads of each Branch of the Military and the Intelligence Agencies Chief Directors; of course that without forgetting Her Imperial Majesty presence.

The briefing was entirely related to the war and the European Population feeling about it, plus the advances on all fronts. The Imperial Military advanced in the Northern Front with the military already at sieging Kiel and having taken Hamburg before it; Meanwhile the Central Front had the same success but with the advance being slow compared to the north since it was recently at the outskirts of Hannover and Kassel, both cities having rejected the first wave of attacks and giving the Europeans a defeat, driving them back to the outskirts of both cities, however it had under control Frankfurt and Stuttgart with the advance being safely there albeit, it was expected that Munich wasn't going to fall without a fight and that there could be a possible counterattack by the German Forces to reclaim the lost territories in the heart of the nation. The Austrian Front however, it had a change and was already moving in, after an infiltration offensive in the Katschberg Pass, European Forces were able to break through the Archduke Charles Line and force the enemy out of their positions, giving some breathing room as they finally begun to make slow but steady progress as they focused in making sure there wasn't any resistance around the mountains as they crossed them.

Meanwhile the Dalmatian-Balkan Front had success as after five weeks of battle the city of Split fell and the Germans surrendered, it was one of the longest sieges of the war as of now but it was expected that the homefront was going to have the longest sieges considering the Russians were also getting from the east, that meant it was an all or nothing.

Meanwhile the landing in Albania was successful long term, the entirety of the adriatic sea being under European Control strategically and with the assault divided in three roads: North, East and South; North to link up with the allied forces and take Belgrade, East en route to Macedonia and Bulgaria and, South to take Greece, the birthplace of Western Civilization with the goal being Athens.

It was expected after six months south, that both eastern and southern Forces in the balkans would link up with the Russians over the course of the next weeks and link up in the area around Mount Olympus before they push to Athens. However, it wasn't the only campaign around Greece since it was planned for the next weeks to make a landing around Crete as soon as the German Mediterranean Fleet is out of combat either permanently or temporally enough to have Crete under Imperial control and able to harass the remaining enemy ships.

The Navy meanwhile had the control of the seas, blockading any remaining way the germans have to supply themselves from foreign nations such as Denmark, all while also having defeated the enemy navy at the New Battle of Jutland after they were themselves defeated in the Battle of The German Bay when the Germans broke the blockade temporally around in order to gain time for more supplies as the agricultural heart of Germany is already under Russian Control.

The Air Force meanwhile, it was entirely busy at gaining Air Superiority and bombing the industrial facilities that aren't under allied control in order to delay and stop the war production, however, since the beginning of the war was with the germans making an offensive of their own part of the Air Force was kept to keep the Air Superiority around home under control in case they pull something under their sleeve.

The rest of the talk was busy in the occupation and how to deal with any resistance alongside the economical impact of the war and it's benefits long term alongside how to include the new territories under the Imperial Federation, it was to be a long reform culturally, politically and socially alongside trying to unify the languages to the main four languages and make sure the population spoke it, alongside getting rid of the rotten apples in all sectors of the soon to be extinct German Empire, either by handing them to the Russians; or doing it on their own.

By that point everything was set, all planned and ready. Now, it was just a matter of winning the war.

    One Month Later.

    Palace of Versailles, Paris, EIF.

A month has passed since the discussions of the war's update, both The EIF and Russia were close to Berlin in a few months as one was already in Warsaw and the European Forces in homeland Germany, it was no secret that the race to Berlin was seen by the European troops as a friendly competition between both nations and the fact that they both wanted it for the same reasons; the Russians to get revenge on their defeat 130 years ago and the EIF because of the same fact too. But that was for another day.

Now here it came a moment of love, fun and, politics. Yes; even when you have your wife returning home at least to rest, it also had another reason, the partition of Europe. It was certainly going to happen sooner or later, but better that it was sooner.

But enough of that since it's for later on, time to focus back in the Admiral. She would be recived by a group of Imperial Guards soldiers that were to escort her to Versailles as soon as she landed in the Charles De Gaulle Airport and stepped out of her plane.

The reasons were already given to the government and it was all clear; her vehicle would be escorted all the way to the palace where as soon as they were at the doors of it, the vehicle would stop as a group of soldiers saluted her when she stepped down of it. A maid would appear and led her to where Her Majesty was; in middle of the gardens. The Bosquet du Marais more exactly.

There she would find her wife waiting for her appeareance, sitting in a outdoor table while reading a few books alongside drinks for both of them.

The maid which escorted Tomoe would cough, catching Her Majesty's attention.

"Your Highness, Her Majesty Tomoe is here." She said, bowing deeply while Juli smiled at both of them. Glad to see her wife back.

"Thank you Sophie, please take a rest while you stay here with us. I feel like I will need help in getting everything back to the Grand Trianon." She smiled warmly as the maid nodded, deciding to stay and rest, but also keeping aware and vigilant.

"Nice to see you're back home sweetie. I guess Lelia finally gave you a break." She answered chuckling while getting up and kissing her wife deeply for a minute before breaking off, she did wanted to kiss her after all.

"We better get straight to the point shall we?? Please take a seat first."

The Gigantic Military complex of Overlord67

OSS Arctans, Long-Bow Class Destroyer

Freshly designed and constructed straight out of the OSS Fleetyards the OSS Arctans is the first Long-Bow Class Destroyer to be launched and tasked as part of the Overlordian planetary defense fleet. The Long-Bow is a heavily armed lightly defended destroyer, which forgoes conventional Overlordian design in the form of less defense to maximize offensive capabilities. The Long-Bow is 1,346 meters long, and 145 meters wide. The Long-Bow's was built and designed around a single central weapons system, which was designed following the successful introduction of ZPM Technology. It was designed to make use of a ZPM's massive energy output capabilities by harnessing it and channeling it into a single focal blast of energy. The weapon is thus capable of striking hostile vessels, defensive locations, or even planetside positions from extreme distances.

Weapons System and Energy Production/Storage

The Long-Bow was specifically designed to utilize the newly designed ZPM technology. A ZPM, or Zero Point Energy Module, is the primary power source for all Overlordian vessels currently under construction as well as being placed on any older vessel capable of containing the power chamber. Making use of a ZPM takes a great deal of space within a vessel but is used to power everything from engines to shields and primary weapons. The Weapons system of the Long-Bow channels the energy of 12 separate ZPM's, and 36 sub system Fusion cells. Each ZPM core generates it's own energy charge and channels that energy into large capacitor banks along the inner lining of the ship. These capacitors can store a great amount of energy from each ZPM, a full charge taking roughly 25 minutes to achieve.

Once fully charged the vessel contains enough energy to power a small city, or a small fleet of Overlordian cruisers at full power. At that point 4 large thermal radiators extend at the rear section of the vessel. These radiators are critical at keeping the weapon system cool enough to fire while fully charged. After a discharge the radiators compress back to aid in the charge time of the vessel until fully charged again. The radiators must also compress to the hull of the vessel during transportation or when traveling through a Jump Gate.

When the weapons system has achieved a full charge and the radiators have been properly extended the ship reaches a lockdown point, where the crew is suspended in a protected chamber at the central section of the rear of the vessel behind the ZPM cores. Once the crew is secured in this position large connecting pylons drop through every section of the vessel, connecting the inner linings and the outer hull to the capacitor banks. This turns the entire vessel into a single channel for the energy to be released, similar to a lightning rod. At this point the hull at the front of the vessel retracts to reveal the inner lining of the ship which connects to the power banks. The central lining is primarily a magnetic super conductor to channel the charge of energy.

Now ready to fire the energy in the banks is released, supercharging the hull and inner lining. It will take roughly 3.5 seconds to fully release the energy contained down the central lining of the ship and out the magnetic superconductor. The wave of energy released will superheat the hull of the ship to nearly 3,000 degrees Fahrenheit, making it completely inhospitable and thus requiring the crew to be safely within the ships containment chamber. When released the energy beam fired from the weapon will travel from the vessel at a rate of roughly 299,789,460 m/s, or 99.999% the speed of light towards the desired target. Upon impact the beam will deliver a force of roughly 230 million megatons of TnT, comparable to the energy released in a single solar flare.

The energy wave is capable of penetrating over a mile of solid steel, concrete, or most other construction materials. It will carry on in a single direction from the point of fire until impact, or until the energy radiates off and the beam becomes harmless. This in effect will take roughly 3 1/2 years to achieve, in which the beam will have traveled several light years away from the point of fire. The energy wave is capable of melting most known materials and penetrating most known energy barriers with relative ease.

The effective range of this system is theoretically higher then is feasibly possible. When firing at a non moving target the weapons system has little to no trouble striking from planetary distances, however in ship to ship combat the effective range drops to roughly 2 light seconds in distance. At this distance the ship must calculate far in advance where the hostile vessel will be at the time the sensors detect it rather then where the vessel is in real time due to light delay. Any ship of significant size at that range would be virtually incapable of dodging the beam, as by the time it is detected it would have already hit the vessel, and if the vessel is moving already in a direction not direct to the Long-Bow then the ships targeting computer will fire the beam at where the hostile vessel will be by the time of impact. Thus the Long-Bow is capable of getting off an opening shot long before any conventional weapons system from a hostile vessel is capable of getting even a remote lock on the vessel.

To compensate for light lag the targeting systems of the Long-Bow are the most advanced system ever designed by the Overlordian navy. The system is capable of tracking and predicting a hostile vessel's movements to the nanometer baring any unknown force or force significantly more advanced in propulsion then any modern system. However like many other systems once the weapon has depleted the energy banks it will take several minutes to reboot and retarget any additional vessels.

Power Drawbacks

Due to the massive power requirement of the primary weapon every subsystem of the ship goes into power saving mode leading up to the firing moment. When the weapon has fired the power banks of the vessel are completely depleted. This means that the ships shield, propulsion, life support, targeting, etc are offline for nearly 5 minutes. In that time the ship is completely helpless and thus vulnerable to hostile attack. Even once the power returns the ship only has a minor defensive shield and no defense weapons to speak of due to the requirements of the primary weapon.

The crew of the ship can only survive aboard this vessel within a self contained and insulated chamber at the rear of the ship. The chamber is self contained and is severed from the rest of the ship when the weapon fires, suspended in a void space in that section of the vessel. The chamber contains its own life support and communications systems. Communication can not penetrate the hull of the ship when fully charged, and after the weapon fires it takes several minutes for communication to be reestablished, making the crew blind to the void of space for a brief period of time.

After the weapon is fired the ZPM cores immediately begin to recharge the power banks. A full charge takes roughly 25 minutes to achieve, at which point the ship is ready to fire again. Due to this long charge time and brief time in which the ship is entirely offline the ship must be protected by a defensive fleet if desiring to destroy multiple targets.

Crew and Subsystems

The Long-Bow only has a crew of 24 people. It has little space for any passengers nor military embarkments to be aboard it. The vessel contains a single small transportation shuttle and enough escape pods to save the lives of the crew. The crew itself is made up of a commander, three military officers, a navigation and communication officer, and 19 various engineering and repair servicemen. These men and women are tasked with the oversight and maintenance of the ships systems, commanding various drones and repair droids to aid in their day to day jobs. The vessel is highly automated and requires little maintenance work, with the most damage often caused by melted wiring from the weapons primary fire.

The engine cluster at the rear of the ship contains 4 primary thrusters. These thrusters can only be used when the weapon is not being fired. To aid in target lock the ship makes use of 36 maneuvering thrusters. These thrusters have their own power source not linked to the primary ZPM cores, but rather the Fusion Cells aboard the ship. This allows the thrusters to remain active when the vessel is preparing to fire. Once the weapon has fired however these thrusters can not be operated for safety reasons as the massive electrical discharge could overload and cause secondary explosions in the thrust chambers.

The shield generator of the ship is far smaller and covers only as much area of the ship as needed, with stronger forward shielding then aft. The shield draws power from the ZPM cores, and thus must be deactivated in order to fire the primary weapon. Once the weapon is fired shields are the first system to receive newly generated power and provide some defense to the vulnerable vessel, however this takes several minutes.

Finally the communication cluster of the vessel is located oddly at the aft sections of the ship. These are capable of reaching great distances, however like other systems are linked to the ZPM cores and thus unable to be used following the weapon discharge.

Say no more! I'm gonna get working on something to get The Imperial Federation back on track

Nova mervay

The Imperial Federation
It was a few years after The Continental War; right now The Federation extended it's hold throught the great part of Europe and had it's hold in Northern Africa secured through Algeria and had it's sphere of Influence secured in Europe and Northwest Africa.

The Economy was always foward and growing; worth as one of Aerth's most powerful, wealthy and prosperous nations and whose story this century has been one of a rollercoaster before the actual period of relative peace where the European Empire wasn't threatened to be wiped off the map; Pax Europaea. A period that begun after the Coronation of Her Imperial Majesty and Empress of Europe and The Europeans, Juliette VIII.

This period of peace was only disrupted temporally by the The Continental War between The EIF and The Russian Empire against; The German Empire, which now was long gone as the nation begun the process to make sure the annexed territories became part of The Imperial Federation. However, they knew there was more up in the skies; space.

The future of the world was up there, beyond our skies. Up there civilization waited to push for a new home; and as such, they did that thing.

Project Gaia; the project that called for the colonization of planets and it's terraformation for Human Life. The EIF because of other pressing affairs wasn't able to take part like it wanted in the Mars Terraformation and it's colonization, but yet it will see it's fruits and will land to set the first three cities being bulit in Mars: Gaia, Terra and Nova Pompeii.

While half of the resources for the project was going to the colonization of Mars through the Basset Space Center, the Hammaguir Space Center and then to the bases of Admiral Nicholas and Admiral Juliette. The other half was decided to be spent on aiding the Overlordian Efforts of Project Eden.

The Imperial Federation was just a step close to set feet in Mars and two in securing it for the future of the nation.

The Cosmocracy of Orange Creek

Unfortunate circumstances forced me to ghost this region. I'm regretful of that, but what's done is done. Regardless, I'm quite surprised the region still managed to get featured through all this.
