aye, they've managed to extend the scale backwards into negative territory... takes a lot of effort
on the other hand, there's also only one nation thats managed to exceed the decimal places!

I see. But i think there are two. Ransium and Turulorszag because Turulorszag has a higher eco friendly thing than Ransium.

I've already done so! Maybe this can become some sort of event or activity, we all choose someone and endorse them!

indeed, would really help forest step up it's game as a major endotarting region. we do have 478 nations, after all.

And it would boost everyone's influence, which is very helpful in its own right, not to mention how it can give you a larger spot on the map. We have 22 endorsements, and just over 1,000 influence, which we are happy about, as we are really looking forward to finally being placed on the map.

what else is ns for besides trying to dominate stats, after all. and oh, the map. ive been here and ive completely forgotten about it. even if i missed the opportunity to get on the old map, at least i have a chance to get on the new one, praise be octopus islands.

All good things come from trying. The Ur find it necessary to note that despite that fact we have 478 nations in total only 118 of our proud region’s inhabitants are part of the world assembly.

Yet Ransium only has 103 endorsements. All WA members should endorse him immediately!

There are still places on the Old World map that you can use, as many nations have CTEd, and there's still uncharted wilderness, but the New World has much more free land. I'm going to be on the Old World once the map is updated (I've already put in the form and discussed with Octopus islands how I'm going to be between Kuch and Sean fiobha), and so will our literal brother nationGandenia most likely, but if you want lots of space to expand, I'd recommend the New World.

i suppose a near 1:4 ratio is quite good already as far as ns regions go!

Middle Barael wrote:That sounds like a purge. Plus, it would allow everyone to gang up on others, and it would make raiding easier. And this is a region for real life environmentalists, not environmentally friendly nations. If you want that, go to Yggdrasil. Let's not become Jacobins. Remember, Robespierre, who started the beheadings in France, was beheaded himself as well.

i agree. stats have no bearing on community. if they did, what would new nations do?

Also, a rule of thumb for endorsements is that when you endorse someone, it's more likely that they'll endorse you back, so everyone endorse everyone! While some nations like Ransium, Feladria, and Lura endorse everyone, most will only endorse those who have endorsed them or more important nations. We too will abide by this rule: we will now endorse anyone who endorses us!

The young ur wrote:I know one of the main declarations of the region is, “All are welcome,” but I think it would be beneficial to remove some nations. The criterial could be non-WA membership, low environmental beauty, low eco- friendliness, and charmlessness. Ten or twenty nations could be called out and banning the individual nation could be democratically voted on by WA nations. I feel it would help cleanup some of the rougher nations. Those in government positions would be protected.

Welcome to Forest, and it's great that you're brimming with such ideas and enthusiasm, but remember that you've been here for 3 days. Before you redesign this 15 year old region according to what you think might be beneficial maybe kick back for a little while and get a feel for the place. This particular idea is simply not going to happen, but it may take a little time for you to appreciate why.

Apart from inclusivity being one of Forest's core values, we have a fine tradition of dystopian nations such as Lord Dominator and Candlewhisper Archive - the former arises from a deliberate attempt to create the worst hellhole possible while the latter is a nation driven by the gathering and free sharing of all information about everyone where all other concerns have been deliberately sacrificed to "the great leap outwards." Both have been years in the making and it should be obvious that they don't reflect the real life views of the players behind them. My nation's policies don't fully represent my personal opinions either (though I do have some sympathy). It seems that your nation already has prohibition, WMDs, capital punishment and a ban on divorce. I hope this doesn't reflect your personal politics, but if does then the Forest way would be for us to have a respectful discussion about that rather than trying to get each other banned.

The Easter VrijStaat of Ownzone

Forest has always scored high on the mutual endorsement list. For years we were in the top 10. With more and more inactive puppets in Forest for various reasons and other regions picking up the endorsement numbers we kind of lost touch with the top 10. Although it is well known that I don't have much love for the in my eyes sometimes excessive amount of mostly inactive puppets that people create the game/simulation itself allows it and through most of the mini-games even indirectly encourages it. It is not "the Forest way" to prescribe players how to play the game outside of the formal rules especially not through banishment as a punishment if they fail to comply.

Boom. Ransium is now endorsed :D I was planning to endorse him soon anyway. :P

Deontologia

Honestly, I'm too much of a role player to endorse a nation with state press, child labour, ritual sacrifice and the death penalty.

I choose issues on Ransium mostly trying to maximize weather. It’s a little sad because Ransium used to be a nicer (or much less insane) place to live, but there it is. It’s ultimately every nations call weather to endorse me or not though ^_^
