Cool! I love WW2 history. Especially the military aspect.

I'm more interested in what life and politics was like in Nazi Germany rather than the nitty gritty details of battles, strategy etc.

I find it very interesting as well. Its very interesting from the german perspective for me though, since they have a much more deluded view of their nation than we have now.

No worries friend :)

One thing I really admire about Germans is how they don't shy away from their past and have openly and honestly assessed and accepted it, and built a successful, democratic country. I think for a time under Trump there, Germany took on the de facto role of leader of the free world.

If you enjoy military history, I recommend a YouTube channel called The Armchair Historian.

Yeah, its really fascinating how Germany was able to do that. I would say the same about Japan, but they weren't really the same thing. Germany was bombed more, and had an actual ground invasion. Also, economically, while Japan has a higher GDP, Germany is more stable, and its even more amazing considering Japan was given a higher priority, namely by america

Yeah, I watch his videos sometimes. I like to watch a lot of oversimplified and I also watch simple history and history matters. They are good, short videos on history.

Japan is the opposite of Germany on this issue. Their nationalism and aversion to shame and dishonour makes them nostalgic for their empire and downplay or outright lie about the horrors committed by the Japanese during the war.

Japan never acknowledged their war crimes and doing so in Japan is political suicide.

Yup. Just a few examples of why the German recovery should have been the miracle, and not Japan's

I think Germany's recovery was even more remarkable considering how decimated infrastructure was by Allied bombing and how the country was divided between Britain, France, the US and the USSR.

Its a russian revolution joke. The Bolsheviks were actually the minority but called themselves the majority. And opposite for the mensheviks.

Berlin and Hanover is an odd combination. Why not all of Germany?

Berlin and Hanover were the first to begin their revolts against the axis after their victory in ww2. As such, the name was chosen accordingly. Read more here, and I will have a full history sooner of later depending on my mood: nation=berlin_and_hanover/detail=factbook/id=1542434

Why do people visit your nation

people visit renway for its natural beauty. The nation is described as “a mix between Iceland, Scotland, and norway” The most popular destination for tourists like this is king jon 1st national park (named after Renways first king) Located in northeast langtia province this national park is famous for its waterfalls, forests, hot springs, and valleys. Anything that could turn into trash is banned. This makes it the most revered national parks around the world. Visitors also learn about renwegian culture there as the restraunts there serve traditional renwegian food and many shops sell renwegian cultural things and books that can teach renwegian.

People enjoy visiting Noristoniaka for its nostalgic feel, beautiful landscapes, and mixed culture. The nations is thought of as an Asian-founded regime. Places in Noristoniaka, such as "Hveiß Nasjenalparkke," "Sömmenreiket Päleiß," and "Hörvenstasjenet" are some of the most popular tourist destinations in the country! Narvish cuisine (Närvesche Kümatech) is very diverse, full of different styles of food and drinks. Sönnseiß, a sweet candylike snack made from nasturtium flower dowsed in a syrupy liquid, then freezed to make a delicious treat.

Ask me if you want to know more, I don't feel typing this.

I honestly don't know why people would visit my nation right now considering the borders are closed and it's heavily authoritarian.
