Ice skating is so fun. I went to a rink a few times, fell down so many times I couldn't sit down for a day. But it was worth it and awesome.

In Phoenix Arizona, it was 117°F. In Lake Havasu City, Arizona, the temperature reached up to 128°F.

If you are used to the metric system here you go: 117°F = 47.22°C. 128°F = 53.33°C

No, it's not really a good thing. American exceptionalism was used to excuse the American empire in the 19th and 20th centuries, and used to justify many of the dodgy wars started by the United States as well. It's basically America's god-complex

I was pleasantly surprised when I discovered that ice skating is pretty much the same as rollerblading

Depends on your definition of "City"

Federal Bohemia wrote:That's not close to being a city.

A city is a LARGE human settlement. It can be defined as a permanent and densely settled place with administratively defined boundaries whose members work primarily on non-agricultural tasks. Cities generally have extensive systems for housing, transportation, sanitation, utilities, land use, and communication

A city: an area that contributes to society and is witheld by a nation and for a nation for the keen purpose of settlement and territory. it must contribute to a stable government and it must have some sort of protection, it also has to have at least a population of 300,000 people. it also must have certain type of production and markets to stabilize the economy and the people must follow direct rules under the nation's constitution.
