The Rei Khans Wife of North South North West Kansas

“Hello,” Luca says gently.

Azulakas tenses up when Rei takes notice of her early departure, glancing back at the trio as Kansas speaks. She takes a deep breath, seemingly calming her nerves, "Yes.. that'll work." she responds, a lingering tone in her voice. With that she darts out into the hallway, fists loosening up as she carried on with her day. Though as time passes, the tanned lass feels the shadow of dread come over her.
What if this was a mistake...?

Azulakas was a lass who often appeared alone, preferring to stay in the least populated corners of classrooms and often keeping to herself. Outside of class, only glimpses of the dark-haired woman could be seen, often disappearing to her home or to who knows where else, and often times, when approached by others or bumping into her results in a glare of death from her deep blue eyes and less commonly a blown temper that results in harsh words and maybe concussion as she forgets her own strength. Those who knew her in high-school know of the force she could be when pushed past the point of irritation though she does seem to have learned to control her temper somewhat, cementing her reputation as that of a lone wolf with an unattractive aura of irritability.

Kansas watches Azulakas as she leaves, remembering their own days of isolationism.

The Intergalactic Federation of Roxium

Those observing the submarine's cameras would see a mangled mess of flesh, bone, and metal. What ever this thing is, it's very much NOT Roxium, as its design does not match any Roxium ship designs Azulakas has seen, not to mention that it seems to make use of exotic biotechnology the Roxium Federation does not posses. On an armor plate on a badly damaged long spaceship-like object mounted near the root of the partially detached wing, what seems to be an identification code is written. It reads "Autonomous Battle Ark G11F81". No markings identifying who built or owns it are found, but at least they can rule out the Roxium Federation. As its body has been partially split in two, the submarine is able to peer inside.
It's starting to become somewhat clear on what caused its demise as most of the damage seems to not be the result of its crash landing. Some time before the reports of it falling from the sky, there was some kind of explosion in the orbital space just east of Azulakas, meaning something shot it down.

Scrap Rats

"I think we have a misunderstanding." says CK. "I have no intentions of threatening you or anyone else in this room. The security detail is only here to protect me! As long as none of your people shoot, the security detail won't do anything." In response to CK's words, the two heavily armed cloaked Cicada agents lower their weapons, which have remained on yellow status since they first entered the lab. Yellow status means the safety lock is disengaged but the actual fire safety is still engaged, meaning the weapons will not fire when the trigger is pulled.
"As a show of good will, I'm ordering my security detail to stand down." says CK before he says something in Pogashanese. The air shimmers again as the two agents partially uncloak, allowing the people in the room to see them putting their weapons to green status before holstering them. Green status means both the safety lock and fire safety is engaged. When engaged, the safety lock prevents the fire safety from being disengaged. Engaging the safety lock will also force the fire safety to engage.
"To be honest, I'm under quiet a bit of stress. Cicada Command wants Iblion dead as soon as possible, preferably BEFORE he destroys Augusta. You have no idea how stressful trying to prevent your world's destruction is. He's already wiped out chunks of both the Roxium Augusta Territory and Monsone, killing well over a million people in the process."

Monsone

Loguko, Shinguaki

Unlike the can of soda, the four-pack of soda finds itself actually being consumed. The police officers sample it and seem to have mixed feelings about it. At least one of the officers each take the absolutist position of either loving or hating the beverage while the others take more nuanced positions. By in large, most of the officers find the soda to be of acceptable taste and quality despite tasting like strawberries with a hint of cherries. Not a bad combination, but certainly a bit odd.

The Shingukaian authorities for their part begin to leave treats behind for the Cicada agents. The most common such treat is a large two-liter bottle of green tea. Lacking sweetening, the tea contrasts with the sugary sweetness of the sodas. Another common treat is a packet of salted plums and apricots which taste much as they ought to taste: incredibly salty with fruity hints once the dried fruit has been sufficiently rehydrated with saliva. It is an acquired taste, to say the least. A treat commonly found is a cylindrical packet of chips. With a colorful label, the chips were proclaimed to be barbeque flavored and indeed were barbequed flavored; Shingukai Barbeque flavored. That means a mix of soy sauce, sesame oil, onion, shallot, and garlic as being the dominant flavor pallet of the chips alongside hints of pork. The chips themselves were shockingly made from a mix of corn and potato meal. The final common treat found was roasted corn tea, which tasted exactly like tasted corn soaked in water and ever so slightly sweetened with corn syrup.

Culinary escapades aside, the authorities were still looking for Cicada agents without much success. The second hidden camera is found after some time and effort and again, was promptly removed before disappearing into sparks and smoke like the first hidden camera. Clearly, there was some sort of cat and mouse game at play.

Monsonian Varlokaria, Monsone

Footsteps; probably from someone around 193cm in height and weighing about 90 kilograms. Each step was meticulous, and each step was calculated. From a dark corner of the hanger emanated a voice filled with disgust and vitriol. It was an unmistakable voice to Iblion, one he really could never forget.

"Article VIII of the constitution: No individual in the government may pursue an alliance, international agreement, or treaty of any sort without its ratification by both houses of Parliament. If the subject in question fails to pass a parliamentary vote, it can be resubmitted in an edited manner in perpetuity unless the said motion is banned by a parliamentary vote. Failure to abide by these proceedings must trigger the immediate suspension and removal of the official or officials in question." As these words were uttered, Geiger emerged from the shadows, dressed in a dinner jacket with matching pants, a red low-cut waistcoat, and a black bow tie.

"Did you just come from dinner?" Asked Mezer as he glanced over at Geiger.

"Of course not." Responded Geiger as he twirled a slick black cane.

"What on earth is even going on here?" Krause asked before saying: "This is beyond my own desires for the day."

"Did you miss me?" Asked Iblion in a teasing manner.

"I've been looking forward to your demise for too long at this point." Grumbled the president. "It looks like I may finally have my way."

As Geiger said this, he pulled out a large pistol. He cocked it and then aimed it squarely at Iblion, who simply grinned. He seemed amused by the idea of getting shot, thrilled by the prospect of somebody not learning their lesson. However, there was no emotion on the president's face. Cold, stoic, and emotionless. Then, just as suddenly as he'd pulled out the pistol, Geiger uncocked it and put it down, partially to the surprise of Iblion. He half expected to get shot and then laugh at the foolishness of the president. Sighing, it was clear the president was thinking about something deeply and almost philosophically. It took him little time to come to some sort of conclusion.

"Why do I even bother with a gun?" He rhetorically asked. "You're not going to be felled by a mere bullet."

"I'm not." Iblion's grin had grown larger.

"What on earth has gotten into him?" Asked Krause in a whisper.

"He's playing the long game," Mezer responded in a silent tone of voice.

"I cannot beat you; it simply isn't possible." The president bowed his head.

"What on earth is going on?" Luka blurted out.

"When will it end?" Mumbled Andrea as she stared at the president.

"So are you going to sign the treaty?" Iblion's grin had been with an annoyed facial expression as he realized Geiger had been stalling him for some reason.

"No." Geiger silently said as he straightened himself, now staring Iblion in the eyes.

"Dear god." Szraijetkoff said.

"So what are you going to do? Keep blustering? More bull%$#&?" Asked Iblion in an uninspired and almost downright bored manner.

"Wrong. I'm going to defeat you." Retorted Geiger, his voice heavy from the rage it contained. "I'm going to rip your attoms apart and scatter them into the depths of the seventh circle of the inferno of hell without so much as a second thought to your opinion."

"And how are you going to do that?" Iblion cackled.

"By becoming more powerful than you could ever hope to become." An icy voice suddenly said, its tone shaking the room to its core. One could be mistaken for thinking the voice sounded like Geiger's, but the fact of the matter was that even Geiger seemed shocked by the voice.

"Blood was shed for this land; not your blood. The blood price was paid, with Monsonian blood. This is not your land, this is will never be your land, and it will not be the land of the masters you serve." Coldly and snidely the voice prepared itself to spit in Iblion's face. Without much consideration for the repercussions, continued after a monetary pause. "Ironic isn't it, that you serve a master despite your seemingly limitless power. It must haunt you to think about the lies you espouse about power when you are beholden to a weak and pathetic mortal. How pathetic it must be to find oneself in such a circumstance. I'd rather die the most painful and shameful death than submit myself to the will of the pathetic excuse for an emperor you happen to serve."

"HOW DARE YOU INSULT ME?!" Iblion roared, the provocations from the voice certainly striking a nerve. "YOU?! I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT YOU ARE, BUT YOU SOUND PATHETIC!"

"Oh you childish little fool." Smugly the voice said at the insults. "Be careful who and what you call pathetic. You're just the pot calling the kettle black."

"Where are you?!" Snapped Iblion in a slightly more modulated tone of voice. "I'll kill you!"

"Kill me? That is a bold claim to make." Echoing, the voice spoke in a cold and distant tone of voice. "May have tried, and all have failed because I paid the blood price to be forged in the fires of war. I am the offspring of my ancestor's blood, I have been tempered in the horrors of combat, and I am the very walls that surround you now. I am the very air you breathe, the very ground you stand on, the very atmosphere that surrounds you."

"Are you some kind of Celestial?" Iblion asked, genuinely curious at this point.

"No." Curtly the voice responded before a noticeable change in the air occurred, almost like a drop in temperature only it didn't get colder. Everything just felt emptier and less vivid. "I know who I am; do you?"

Standing in front of Iblion was a slightly blob-like sphere roughly 1.5 meters in diameter and equally as tall. Covered perfectly in a monsonian flag, the sphere had two eyes and no mouth, yet could still speak. It stared with apathetic eyes at Iblion, eyes that told the story of war, death, destruction, suffering, loss, triumph, dedication, fury, passion, and struggle. Those eyes sent a shiver down Iblion's spine, and he couldn't quite tell why.

"Tell the Royal Emperor to stop being so underhanded in his negotiating tactics. Nobody is stupid enough to be fooled by a narcissistic devil-like creature that cannot help but pivot between aggrandizing itself, causing unnecessary suffering, and seeking out a sexual conquest." Said the thing. "On second thought, I just told him. Forget about everything I said, Iblion. Your master already heard it all. No need for the messenger to relay the message."
