Schulz signs defense bill.

During a media briefing held at Kanzleramt in Vienna this morning Chancellor Acwulf Schulz signed an updated defense bill into law. This calls for NR’s defense budget to increase by 45% over the next five years with a much higher focus on air, naval and interstellar forces considered “paramount” by the Schulz Government. Unpredictable regional instability has caused the Nationale Republik to rethink its military capabilities and Chancellor Schulz wants the country to be “better off” as it heads into the future.

Radiant Armed Forces Begins Testing 'PELICAN F-23 TUSNUAMI' in Sea of Sparrows
The Pelican F-23 Tsunami is a seaplane that can transform into a midget submarine, capable of delivering damaging payloads from the sea and sky. The Pelican F-23 Tsunami must land safely before transitioning into a submarine vehicle. The first tests ran this weekend in the Sea of Sparrows and have thus far been successful at the application of concept. Additional testing is scheduled to occur this month before any version of the Pelican F-23 Tsunami is released for use in combat.

Region Minister of Defense wishes to attend the testing of this new craft that if successful it will change how we fight wars.

Beernog Drinking Contest set for tomorrow on July 4th

Urdo Ythići, Xitizia's record-holding hotdog-eating champion will be taking on Anthony Ike Johnson the grand champion for the past several decades and setting the record at 250 beernogs. Anthony will be turning 94.

So will Anthony continue his reign or will Urdo Ythići from Xitizian States dethrone him tomorrow reigning as the new champion? Let us know who you think will win and how many beernogs will they drink.

Odinburgh's Prediction: For me I think Anthony Ike Johnson will win drinking 257 beernogs and Urdo Ythići will at least drink 251 beernogs.

Sunrise Reveals Horrific Results of Romanic Charges at Evergreen Lines
Evergreen Soldiers are getting their first look at the battlefield downrange of their NLMG-A2 machine guns as the battle continues to rage. Romanic losses seem to have been highest near Rome, where multiple waves of Romanic soldiers were cut down along front lines that stretch for hundreds of miles along the Western Romanic highway -- a critical capture for the Evergreen Republic in the early stages of the war.
Alansa-18 Truck Mounted Artillery Systems have been called into action to assault the Romanic front, preparing for what looks like a counter-offensive. Romanic jets have also been seen falling out of the sky as Sparrow-22 jets seem to be gaining the upper hand, thanks to Buneaventura High-Tech Anti-Air Systems, which are also in possession of Evergreen Army forces on the front.
