The representative Minister of the Republic of Hongheria kidnapped by terrorists of the HIF today this morning the representative Minister of the Republic of Hongheria, Lajkos Horty, has been kidnapped by a commando of the HIF ( Hongherish Indipendence Front ). The Hongheria was a country who existed before the Hogdmia, after the Hogdmian Indipendence, United with other Indipendences of other regions of the state. Hogdmia concessed and autonomy at The Hongheria in 1967, but a group of Hongherians wish that their country become indipendent, so in 1980 a group of hongherians nationalists created the HIF. Hello! If this is a buildup to a civil war, you can not do it, as there is a 28 day cooldown for newcomers. If you want there to be a war, you would have to wait and develop a lore and structures in correspondance to the rules of war (which I'm including here):
1. A valid reason for war (Casus Belli) will be necessary for declaring a war on another nation; Invalid reasons include: -Anything which is stated to be OOC (out-of-character), or anything taking place in a website other than NationStates (Discord, IIwiki, etc) -Individual roleplay not affecting another player -You were bored
2. Wars cannot be declared out of the blue; Both nations must agree to it prior to the war being declared, as well as three roleplay post minimum of buildup* by both of the parties involved occurring before the declaration of war (an exception being to if this war was provoked by one of the parties involved; in this case, a war can be declared out of the blue, per the concordat)
3. A war map must be submitted by all nations involved before combat must begin; A war map includes terrain, major cities, roads/highways, and fortifications; this map can be changed during the course of the war, but must be shown to all parties before it is official
4. The strength of all parties involved must be decided on before combat can begin during a conflict
5. Similarly, the outcome of a conflict must be decided beforehand. A hard-set script is not required, but the nations must have an agreement on the ending in order to prevent argument during the war.
6. The usage of Nuclear weapons MUST be approved by the RP Counselors or RP Director, any and all attempts without approval will be declared null and void
7. Countries participating in a conflict should not create a situation that directly affects another non-participant country without that country’s consent (such as roleplaying a refugees stationed on that country’s border, giving that country a de facto ultimatum to either let them in or let them get slaughtered despite not consenting to the said situation).
8. To prevent absurdly unprepared and unrealistic conflict, new coming countries should not start a new war (be it internal/civil or external), or get directly involved in an already existing war, in the span of the first 28 days of their presence in the region, unless explicitly approved by all participants of the war and RP directors.
9. A nation’s government must be determined before any sort of conflict buildup will be recognized by the Directorate and RP Council. This most notably includes a nation’s leader(s), basic political structure, basic government functions, and other such non-negotiable parts of a state.
10. These rules will be enforced by the Directorate at their discretion, and shall have the ability to encourage nations to follow the rules set forth in this document, and possibly force a retconning of the war or other consequence if the parties involved still refuse to abide by these rules
*Buildup is defined as "a roleplay post alluding to a declaration of war"

Executive Minister Fact Series #9 Taylor Walter Morris was an alcoholic. The origin of his alcoholism is unknown due in part to Morris having most of his records burned as part of his will. But his alcoholism was well tracked by other sources. The Residence Order Log from his Ministership indicates that he ordered on average at least 3 bottles of wine a day and that he would often go to meetings drunk. He did well to hide his alcoholism, creating cubbies for bottles or masking them with something else. He put a gag order on the discussion of alcoholism at one point which did give rise to suspicion. In the end though, he didn't die to alcoholism, but to tuberculosis.

- With the war already entering its second month, the Plagyor state has yet to announce their surrender, instead embarrassingly failing at defending their own country against the coalition forces.
To celebrate the the war entering its second month, the Bakyernian military begun an offensive north of Csatorna, specifically to occupy the area near the Rvandonian border to prevent the Plagyorasians from trying to pull a counter attack against the flank of the western offensive group. In the town of Pusztapécs, skirmishes and combat has already begun as a larger unit has arrived to occupy the strategic town by the canal. The war is still in the coalition's favor, with experts predicting the Plagyorasians to surrender before the end of summer at the rate the coalition is advancing at.
In the air, the combined air forces of the coalition have maintained air superiority over the Plagyors, with air strikes mission on defensive positions occurring every day, heavily affecting and disabling Plagyor defenses against the advance.
The Arollian navy has seen big changes in the last couple of years concerning costal defence, with more emphasis being put on producing new costal frigates and collaborating with the army to permanently deploy more troops near the coast of the country. This, as a result, has prompted many to through about the idea of a new branch of the Arollian military, a coast guard. And, when first looking at such an idea, you'd think it was a great one. It would definitely take a heavy load off the navy's shoulders and would ensure greater flexibility in the armed forces. But, many also have criticisms of such an idea. Well, those people have finally had their chance to express their concern about the thought of a coast guard to the Arollian government in this week's Parliament meeting, which was held on Friday. The arguments were many, with some saying that the Arollian army simply doesn't have the budget to maintain a brand new branch of the military, others chose to explain that there will be not enough service personnel to fill up all the roles necessary for such a task, and that it would reduce the number of soldiers and ships of both the army and navy, as they would have to be transferred to a new service branch. The more moderate also got their chance to speak, exclaiming that a coast guard is possible and would be beneficial for Arollia as a whole, but that it doesn't need to be its own branch and could act as part of the navy. Swindon Geffreim, the Secretary of State, sided with the moderates and used many of the same arguments. It seems that most senior officials in the government agree as well. The Chancellor didn't state is full opinion on the matter, but is instead acting as a mediator between all three sides, with him stating 'All sides here have good arguments. I just hope that whatever happens with the hypothetical idea of a coast guard is beneficial to the brave men and women of our armed forces. As far as my own opinion is concerned, Mr Speaker, it is not a Chancellor's duty to get involved in the affairs of the military, as that's the job of the Defence Department and all the great folks that work in that department of our government'. Other topics discussed in the Parliament meeting were reforms to the police, increased funding for animal shelters and a small debate over plastic bags.

What are the symptoms and transmission methods? BTW, Bulyakopoxus is not the most scientific of scientific names If it is related to smallpox then I suggest this name: Variola bulyak Add minor if its closest relative is Variola minor, the milder and less common strain Add major if its closest relative is Variola major, the severe and more common strain

Layfet opens refugee stations for Vescariumians fleeing violence
As of current, there isn't any significant information about how deadly the virus is, there's no indication of potential asymptomatic spread, and there's only 24 confirmed cases. Although it may be reasonable to screen incoming travellers for symptoms, and maybe quarantine those coming from the Materikia province, it is not reasonable to take such a drastic action as closing off all your borders - especially this early into the outbreak.
Taking such drastic action against a virus in such an early state without having any information to justify such drastic action would more than likely unnecessarily damage your economy and anger travellers, rather than protecting your country against an outbreak. Such distrust and anger could potentially even discourage people from cooperating with future necessary actions if they see their government acting in such a rash fashion. It is also highly questionable whether closing borders helps to contain viruses.
This event is occurring on the basis that we self-police and correct those who act in an overly drastic measure to the outbreak. Please refer to RP Councillor Vult's post on the topic. I would personally advise looking at previous reactions to past local outbreaks (such as the 2003 SARS COV 1 outbreak) as a guide to help inform a reasonable reaction to the outbreak, keeping in mind that in the real world (especially in developing sections of the world) outbreaks of viral diseases isn't particularly rare.

Police Inspector of the National Police Department of Grigori promoted to prefect of the province of Grigori The Police Inspector of the National Police Department of Grigori Vera Suffolk has been promoted by the Minister of the Police Nikolaji Dvorák to prefect of the province of Grigori after a record of about 37 solved homicide cases. Entered in the National Police Department at the age of 19 as Special Police Officer, Vera Suffolk made a career in the department and was promoted to Chief Inspector in 1995, in 2006 received the promotion of Police Inspector and today has received the promotion of prefect of the province.
Variola virus is a specific species of the Poxviridae family. Although Bulyak Pox is from the same family as smallpox, it seems to be more distantly related. As such, a more realistic name would likely be something amongst the line of "Bulyakpoxvirus".

"The Militant" and "Greer's" are two Vultesian themed bars in downtown Windsor that have become popular among Vultesian servicemembers serving at Camp Windsor in Layfet.
The Militant, located in the basement of the 9th and 9th Building is one of the largest by total area bars in the State of Thentar. It contains a hall of Vultesian history (excluding the Green Jacket Revolution) and an obstacle course for Vultesian servicemembers to test their "macho" while drunk. It also includes a boxing ring. The bar is also made to resemble a Vultesian barracks back home. The bar serves both Layfetian and Vultesian cocktails as well as original cocktails based on a fusion of the two cultures. It is owned by Vultesian-Layfetian entrepreneur Paul Naspar.
"Greer's" is located on street-level on Broadway in the first-floor of the Naspar Building (which is also owned by Paul Naspar). The bar is made to resemble the Princeps' official residence and serves exclusively Vultesian drinks. The bar has portraits of all Princeps except for Caspar. Mattasait's and Alfmoody's portraits however have no names under them.

Ye got consent from Abjekistan and Gassasinia? Also kinda seems unrealistic to report 44 cases while Abjekistan has only has 24. Just saying
There is also a New Sebronian themed bar located at Telrenz Landing (a outdoor shopping complex) called "Grospśtek" in Windsor. "Grospśtek" has more of a sports bar feel but also features many cultural knick-knaks from New Sebronia. It tends to try to resemble modern Sebronic architecture. The bar is owned by Naspar Enterprises but is managed by local Sebronic-Layfetian Egil Davidson
- Bakyern's lack of social welfare programs has been a very controversial issue for Bakyern's modern political history, with the government providing corporations with more support and helping them benefit off almost everything from housing to healthcare to childcare.
The Pavikat has officially voted majority Aye on the Care for Bakyernians Act, or CAB. CAB has been in discussion since last year since its presentation by representatives of the Bakyernian Social Party in their mission to expand social welfare to the unfortunate living in Bakyern. Only was it this February that the Pavikat decided to begin discussing the vote and its benefits for the Bakyernian people. Eventually today during a session the vote ended with a majority Aye vote from the Liberal-Conservative Party and the Social Party.
The new social welfare programs will help improve the lives of the poor in Bakyern, with people meeting requirements being eligible for affordable or even free healthcare costs, affordable housing, and government issued food stamps. People unemployed and unable to get employment due to medical problems are also expected to be eligible for the new programs. The benefits someone will get will depend on their age, health, number of children, and yearly income.

The Bakyern themed bar in downtown Layfet City went out of buissness in the 1970s. It resembled a Bakyern Police Station and served Bakyernian food in addition to Layfetian drinks (Importing alcohol from Bakyern has high tariffs) it was classy but because of Layfetian cultural attitudes towards the Bakyernian government and bar's distance from major tourist sites or Bakyernian-Layfetians, it was forced to close shop in 1972.
