The Still Flying Flock of More Migrating Geese

And we made it to the end of our 6th migration. We'll party here, when all have caught up with the geese.

The Airborne Flock of Migrating Geese

And we're back home, for a brief respite after finishing our 6th trip. We are losing 2 very valuable members. Our flock is greatly diminished because others are semi-retired. However, when the geese started out, there was no flock. So on we'll go, starting the 7th. But for now, let's just have a glass of champagne and pat ourselves on the back for making it safely home.

Bloody hell. Herby and the loaf of bread are leaving The Flock.
It won't be the same without them, but I guess life goes on.
My best to them.

We lost The Eternal Sightseer back in Thanksgiving, but he hasn't wired me to say he was retiring. So, we'll leave him on the books for now.

Cheers, my good friends, and here's to a safe 7th trip; let's see who makes it to the end.

By my count there are 5, possibly 6, of us still making the trip. Who's ready for the flight?!?

The Floating Fortresses of The 21 Hot Air Balloonists

Friends, congratulations on finishing migration 6. In my 8 years in the flock, the balloonists have logged many passport stamps over three of those migration. TR has been a fun NS tradition to be a part of, but unfortunately this past migration was my last one.

I joined NationStates over 10 years ago, and of course over so much time, much about my life has changed. Back then, I was a just a middle school kid. Now, I’ve moved across the country, I have a degree and a full time job, and everything is just generally busier. At the same time, not much about NS has changed, and my interests have diverged.

So now, after a decade, it’s time for me to retire from NS. It’s been a pleasure to fly with y’all :D

*floats off into the sunset*
Thanks for hosting me :’)

P.s. if you ever need to get in touch with me, you can send me a message on the TR forums, those still go through to an email I check regularly
