This section contains the rules regarding the Statutory Code document itself.
I. Authority a) The statutes in this document are the final authority with regard to the actions and decisions of all the region's residents and government officials, and members of nobility. b) They are to be created by Parliament, enforced by the Legion, and interpreted by the Imperial Chamber Court. c) They are not to be superseded by any other document or proclamation short of an Executive Order.
II. Amendments a) Any resident may propose an amendment to any section of this document at any time. b) Any proposed amendment must be sent to the Prime Minister, who will review the text for legality. c) Upon a ruling of merit, an amendment is to proceed to region-wide referendum; i. If it receives a majority vote in favor, it will be officialized, and the Statutory Code will be amended as necessary. ii. An amendment that does not pass through referendum may not be resubmitted to vote without any changes. d) If an amendment is deemed illegal or does not reach a majority vote, the amendment may be revised and re-submitted at any time, unless the Justice deems it baseless and, thus, unworthy of resubmission.
This section contains the rules regarding the Elections and Campaigning rules and/or protocol.
I. General Guidelines a) The NationStation Rules, Discord Terms of Service, and regional law must be obeyed at all times. b) All campaign messages are expected to be thoughtful. Spam, or the posting of multiple repetitive messages is prohibited. Spam of images and elementary phrases such as “Vote for Apos” will not be tolerated. c) The Office of the Prime Minister is the sole and penultimate authority on the interpretation and enforcement of these rules. Should an action come close to but not necessarily violate the text of these rules, the Office of the Prime Minister may determine wrongdoing. d)The Office of the Prime Minister may amend these rules at any time without warning. Candidates and voters are expected to familiarize themselves with these rules. e)Violation of these rules may result in action taken against the offender, including the possibility of removal from the ballot. i. Loss of title if a member of nobility is also fair game.
II. Onsite a) Members of His Majesty's Government are forbidden from using their permissions to influence the outcome of an election via the abuse of power. b) Candidates are permitted to make one small RMB post (less than 100 words) about their campaign wherein they may cite their Campaign dispatch if applicable. i. Candidates may not post their platform in full on the RMB. ii. Candidates are limited to ONLY one RMB post per election. c) Telegrams concerning a campaign must be sent one at a time, and use of API/Third Party software is strictly prohibited.
III. Discord a) Discord campaigning must be limited to the #campaign-channel only. i. This also applies to any other member of the region involved in election commissions. b) The practice of direct messaging everyone to beg for votes is now banned.
This section contains the rules regarding The Wolf Clan as an entity. The Imperial Chamber Court, led by the Lord High Justice, interprets and rules and laws of The Wolf Clan. As outlined in Article V of the Constitution of the Wolf Clan, "All judicial power shall be vested in the Lord High Justice of the region." The incumbent Lord High Justice is Hipsters with airpods.
I. High Treason, High Crime a) High Treason shall be illegal, with a possible punishment of permanent or temporary banishment from the region, permanent or temporary revocation of citizenship, permanent or temporary banishment from holding office, or revocation of noble titles. i. Performing a hostile or illegal seizure of the government, Discord server, or another individual's account. ii. Destroying regional property in collaboration with a foreign body. iii. Relaying classified information to an unauthorized foreign or domestic body.
II. Abuse of Power, High Crime a)Abuse of Power shall be illegal, with a possible punishment of temporary banishment from the region, ejection from the region, temporary revocation of citizenship, temporary banishment from office, or revocation of noble titles. i. The banishment or ejection of any citizens or foreign delegates without legal or executive authorization to do so, from either the region or Discord server. ii. The use of any governmental powers beyond their intended or legally-protected use.
III. Grand Corruption, High Crime Grand Corruption shall be illegal, with a possible punishment of permanent or temporary banishment from the region, permanent or temporary revocation of citizenship, ejection from the region, permanent or temporary banishment from office, or removal from office. i. The bribery of another citizen, as a high-ranking member of government, to take a specific action or express support for something. ii. Rigging or otherwise dishonestly interfering with an election or public vote by an official in management of the election or vote. iii. Any dishonest behaviour by a high-ranking government official taken in the pursuit of personal benefit at the expense of the Citizenry of The Wolf Clan.
IV. Malicious Puppeteering, Felony a) Malicious Puppeteering shall be illegal, with a possible punishment of permanent or temporary banishment from the region, permanent or temporary revocation of citizenship, or ejection from the region for the main nation, as well as a mandated and permanent banishment of the puppet(s). i. The usage of a puppet or alternate account to sway election; ii. The occupation of a government office using a puppet; iii. The violation of any public laws under a puppet.
V. Damaging Foreign Relations, Felony a) Damaging International Diplomatic Relations shall be illegal, with a possible punishment of temporary revocation of citizenship, ejection from the region, temporary banishment from office, removal from office, or a warning. i. Taking intentional and/or malicious actions which damage The Wolf Clan's relationship with a foreign power or interregional body.
VI. Plotting, Felony a) Plotting shall be illegal, with a possible punishment of temporary banishment from the region, temporary revokement of citizenship, ejection from the region, permanent or temporary banishment from office, removal from office, or a warning. i. Privately or publicly expressing or formulating plans to commit a High Crime.
VII. Advocation of Inferior Political Ideologies, Felony a) The Advocation of Inferior Political Ideologies shall be illegal, with a possible punishment of temporary revocation of citizenship, ejection from the region, temporary banishment from office, removal from office, or a warning. i. The promotion, practice, or advocation of Anti-Imperialist ideologies. ii. The promotion, practice, or advocation of Fascism, and derivative beliefs such as National Socialism. ii. The promotion, practice, or advocation of Communism. iv. The promotion, practice, or advocation of other ideologies that derive from racial/ethnic cleansing, and religious persecution.
VIII. Petty Corruption, Misdemeanor a) Petty Corruption shall be illegal, with a possible punishment of ejection from the region, temporary banishment from office, removal from office, or a warning. i. The bribery of another citizen to take a specific action or express support for something. ii. Rigging or otherwise dishonestly interfering with an election or public vote; iii. Any dishonest behavior by a member of nobility or political candidate taken in the pursuit of personal benefit.
IX. Dereliction of Duty, Misdemeanor a) Dereliction of Duty shall be illegal, with a possible punishment of removal from office or a warning. i. As a Member of Parliament (MP), missing five or more nonconsecutive votes, or three consecutive votes, within a single given session. ii. As a Cabinet Minister, falling inactive for a week or more consecutively, or failing to uphold the duties of the office to the extent outlined by law. iii. As a member of the Imperial Household, falling inactive for a week or more consecutively, or failing to carry out the duties of the throne to the extent outlined by law. iv. As a member of nobility, falling inactive for a week or more consecutively, or failing to uphold their duties to the extent outlined by law.
X. Aiding and Abetting, Misdemeanor a) Aiding and Abetting shall be illegal, with a possible punishment of temporary revocation of citizenship, ejection from the region, temporary banishment from office, removal from office, or a warning. i. The assistance in the harboring of an individual wanted for a crime. ii. The withholding of information when questioned by the High Inquisition or Imperial Chamber Court.
XI. Puppeteeing, Misdemeanor a) Puppeteering shall be illegal, with a possible punishment of ejection from the region, temporary banishment from office, or removal from office, as well as a mandated and permanent banishment for the puppet(s). i. Holding citizenship or residency status on more than one account/nation, without express legal permission to do so.
XII. Court Fraud, Misdemeanor a) Court Fraud shall be illegal, with a possible punishment of a warning. i. The intentional and/or malicious direction of judicial accusations against another citizen. ii. Lying under oath; defrauding the Imperial Chamber Court and/or its High Justices.
XIII. Misconduct, Infraction a) Misconduct shall be illegal, with a possible punishment of a warning. i. The repeated violation of the Discord or Regional Message Board rules, or refusing to adhere to instructions from regional officers.
