This is the problem with people just spamming out military factbooks and "look at how mighty our army is!!!!" It seriously makes the nation uninteresting and just one of those cliches.

The economic and social issues in your nation would be HUGE - especially when going to war. (This is why modern warfare is also hugely electronic and economic-based rather than the huge tank and sea battles.)

I literally have my economic works and a multitude of factbooks that aren’t military based. Keenly avoiding that one trick pony thing. And it can support the military and population because 1. The economy is stable 2. It’s been steadily growing and 3. Srnomics don’t care about reality tbh

Many social issues here have already been rped out in the past years. A power struggle between the member states and the federal government over the extent of said federal governments power? Check

Economic collapse brought by a massive bubble in a formerly major industry/market? Been there done that

Social issues brought on by colonialism and ethnic tensions? Yeah I did that multiple times over the years

And either way I haven’t been championing AGU as “stable”. So far it’s business as usual, dealing with the disgruntled and distracting the populace away from that by focusing on regional dominance. But even then, the populace at this point due to the decades under a state that comprehensively restructured society around collective nationalism for the imperial tricolor, the ethnic tensions are not really a thing anymore.

Besides I’ve basically pored over documents from all the modern wars from the 90s and new millenium. I’m aware of the role the economy and electronics play into modern warfare. So it helps that I actually know what I’m doing when I go to war.

Yeah. I wasn't gonna include that part hehe. Honestly, kinda sad you can't blow it up or something. Well they might add a DLC for it or a story mission.

Sure it's more fleshed out than the complete cliche, but this part I have extreme problems with. You have Flemish and Dutch as one of your main parts of your nation... they loathe the Germans and Austrians, they really do and let's not even start on the Wallonians and the French. From there comes their own inter-rivalry. The Dutch, Flemish, Wallonians, Germans and the French will never be that close together and will never accept each other's rule. - but that is just in my opinion and experience.

Yeah the ethnic tensions were bad. But it tends to work out once you shift them away from their mother countries and make them worship a generally “neutral” symbol

That and with SR they have no actual mother countries so they’d be splintered into seperatists, which all got uh, killed by the Militärstaat. The Militärstaat did a whole load of stuff and basically killed off Austro-German Democracy as a concept, as well as an institution, while kinda creating this collective loyalty to the state.

I won’t doubt your military prowess yes, but I sincerely doubt it comes close to mine, since I have literal world wars in SR under my belt.

Also imma step in to your other convo, the Russians have no modern tanks. The T-90M and whatever the S variant are, are still jsut updated T-72s.
