I see someone is trying to condemn me, a totally nice person who just happens to raid a little on the side, in the Security Council. Right here - page=UN_view_proposal/id=harenhime_1521481693

Yeah, really. Bastard, that author is. Anyways, here's the thing: campaign telegrams are like matching wits with a Sicilian when death is on the line. If I tell you to vote for it, half of you will say "yeah, he's bad, do it!" and the other half will say "but if he's telling us to vote for it, and he's bad, we should ignore him and vote against." If I tell you to vote against it, same deal - "Bad people like badges, don't vote for it!" vs "Well if he wants us to vote against, then maybe we should vote for..." It's just one big mess, I tell you.

So let's try something else instead. I'm just gonna sum up some points for and against this proposal, and save you the trouble of reading most future telegrams.

Poorly Written and Stupid Proposal
-Hey it's legal
-It's definitely not worse than the Condemn Lazarus that was just in queue until the author got shamed into removing it before vote.
-Also not worse than dozens of proposals on record
-The whole SC is a joke right now; after years of being salty over Mallorea trying to offensively liberate a region, apparently we're not happy to do the same thing as long as it's defenders who are going to raid them

Condemning Raiders
-Raiders are bad and should be condemned
-Raiders like being condemned, don't condemn them
-Why should we care what they like, they deserve to be condemned anyways

You Can't Condemn Someone for Supporting Anime and MLP
-There's precedence for both. Vandoosa's Condemnation (SC#188) mentions the spread of Anime "themed pictures," and the author of this resolution breaks down the latter here -viewtopic.php?f=24&t=438477#p33672877

Toxic Salt Byproduct??
-It's an in-joke from the Roleplay forum. I could explain, but only by making you live there for a few months, which would drastically decrease your quality of life. If you don't get it, best to just treat it as RP. Trust me. Help me.

Self Condemnation is Horrible
-Yes it is! It's terrible! It undermines the very validity of the Security Council!
-People who try to do such things as undermine the security council must be punished as harshly as possible!
-The harshest punishment we have is condemnations!
-Well, we should condemn that guy!

Maybe if NS was an actual game and not some extremist 'pick this extreme or that extreme herpaderp we understand politics' type of game it would be more active.

I like the game. I've had this account for many years. The forums used to be fun. I took part in a pretty large role play some years ago where my leader was eventually put on trial for war crimes lol

roleplay is a non-skill arena where you never really win because playing to win is called god-modding and everyone kicks you out of you do it.

I got this account way back in 2010. Had a few breaks here and there. But my nation is still pretty large

Many officers failed to do their jobs, mostly because they have personal lives, but that is too much, maybe we will get some jobs here if they will stop to exist
