you did the right thing by joining this region. imho, it has the right amount of chatter. i've been in others that were desert wastelands, or non-stop messages.
as for HOW to play, it is what you make it. within this region, i suggest that you avoid offering zen koans or Jeopardy answers, as those roles are taken. (however, if you offer fruit baskets to other newcomers, i think that might be tolerated.)
take on the issues and see where that gets you. most won't make a difference except for commentary to describe you. the ones which will change your economy etc often do so with unexpected consequences, so choose your answers carefully. expect to make mistakes and learn from them, and remember it's just for fun.
Thanks, one time i had an issue about nudity. I didn’t what nudity on my nation but I accidentally clicked an option saying it was aloud, and i was supposed to click the other option :(. But I’m pretty saw I’m gonna able to ban it on my nation one time.
Issues are finite so they’ll come back eventually or you’ll get other issues that will allow for choices you mistakenly missed. You can recover from anything, give enough time. And there are never any wrong choices- just the consequences of the choices made :)
