| The Teachings of Lemmingtopias | Apologies for delay of two of the results yesterday, I had connection issues. Today we have had Ice Hockey Matches, with the final Group Stage matches tomorrow. Some nations have already qualified for the Quarter Finals, others have already been eliminated. Most, however, are going into the final day of the Group Stage fighting. The First Run of the 4-Person Bobsleigh has taken place, with 7 Sleds already being eliminated. The First stage of the Ice Dance took place, ready for the finale tomorrow. Two medal events took place today, firstly the Combined Ski, where, in the Men's event, And in the Grand Final Run of the 2-Person Bobsleigh, Bettisia took the Gold, Demonos took Silver and Congratulations to all Medalists! The authorities were quick to send a retrieval crew to remove them for us. We spent an evening with the high society there, watching a performance on their history. Res Publica is a friendly and interesting place with a vibrant community. It would certainly make a fine candidate for a trading route. Having said that, their snake retrieval abilities leave a little to be desired. After leaving port, we found more of the creatures winding their way around the decks and, in truth, we are at a loss of what to do with them. Unfortunately, samples of the flora and fauna of the area suggest we are nowhere near the lands that the lost expedition ship landed upon. This voyage, it seems, will last longer than expected and we will need to adjust our restocking plans accordingly. | ||||||

Proposals for your consideration 1. Should Madrocea somehow not be re-selected Mayor (or if Madrocea would prefer this over being Mayor), I propose he be made Grand Admiral as a specific security official with Border-Controls and any other controls needed for moderation/security, for an initial term of 4 months, extendable by vote of the Patricians. In reality, it is unlikely Madrocea will not be re-selected Mayor, but I think it important to ensure he continues to have effective control over the region's most important controls. 2. With his return to the region, I propose Romnia is restored as Patrician, replacing Tarligean. 3. That the five Patricians will now be installed as the Head of Trading Companies, as was envisaged when the Patricians were originally established. These trading companies will form the political and economical basis of the region as it is redeveloped. Patricians will have their Officer roles updated so that they each have cosmetic control over the region (appearance) and polls control.
