I like to think that the reason why many intergalactic war games and series don't feature a weapon variation every episode or something like that

Because like, let's take Star Wars for example, if the Republic created a weapon, the Siths would probably also create one equal to or stronger than that one.

Like, there was a clone wars ep, which had a cruiser that deactivates the republic ships, but throughout the ep this ship is never used again or they create more of it

This could be because the republic has placed armor or procedures against this ship.

In other words, the reason why we don't see genius combat weapon creations in these franchises is because at some point it will be outdated or unusable.

So both sides don't create very advanced weapons for this reason.

Good luck with your presentation, just a piece of advice, when you do it, do not reverse the order of the acronyms, it is LGTBIQA+
