Now now, I think you may be on to something... I could be mistaken, but I believe I remember learning in school that Isaiah was actually a Trotskyite, and strongly disapproved of the ideological stances of Stalin and his cadre. Even going so far as to follow in his political hero's footsteps and embarking on a pilgrimage to Mexico to lay flowers down at his final resting place.
