Article 1, members will inform and consult each other on important international military issues affecting the common interests of members. This will happen immediately if one of the members feels militarily threatened.

Article 2, which states that in the event of a hostile attack on one of the members, the other members will individually or collectively assist the attacked member.

Article 3, members promise not to conclude international treaties that conflict with the terms of this pact.

Article 4, members recognize each other as independent countries

Article 5, which other countries, regardless of their social and political system, can join.

Article 6, the treaty has an initial term of 20 years. Members have one year's notice. If the treaty is not terminated, the term is extended by 10 years.
