The formation of The Derpy Democratic Republic Of Herp

A really long time ago, some ponies discovered a portal to the Human world that kept there pony form when in the human world.
They decided to go exploring in this new world and found a Republic there based on silliness and happiness.

They were on an island when they discovered some really friendly people. They integrated and started ' The Island republic of ponies and Humans'. This republic eventually expanded to another island in 1000 AD. Ten years later a team of missionaries from the Catholic Church landed on this Island. The expansion then changed it's name to Dylar and became its own nation. Also, lampshades.

The Island republic of ponies and Humans continued on until the 1700s trading with Dylar and hanging out being cool when a pony came along by the name of "Derp Mc Derpington" came along with a crazy new Idea "Guys we should really make more muffins!" and they loved muffins so much that he became the leader.

In 1745, the popularity of muffins was at it's peek. The Island republic of ponies and Humans was then renamed for the pony who united the country in love for muffins. Thus a new title was in order. The Derpy Democratic Republic Of Herp. With the new title, a new constitution was implemented.
