Regional Officers

All regional officers, aside from the WA Delegate, are people that the founder has enough trust in to give authority.

The World Assembly Delegate

The only regional officer that is democratically elected is the non-executive WA delegate. The WA delegate position itself has no power or authority, aside from World Assembly authority. Any authority that the delegate may have is usually from another, previously-existing officer position. There is no term limit for the delegate.

Motion of No Confidence

The WA delegate may be given a motion of no confidence from the other regional officers. When the delegate receives a motion of no confidence, the delegate will be removed from office. In order for a motion of no confidence to take place, all the regional officers, aside from the delegate and founder, must show that they approve of a motion of no confidence on the regional message board. To do this, the officer must list the reasons why the delegate needs to be dismissed, in a similar fashion to a Security Council Condemnation.

When the delegate receives a motion of no confidence, all authority will be taken away from the delegate. All WA nations will be told to unendorse the delegate, and endorse the WA nation who received the second largest amount of votes in the last election.

Elections

The Delegate Election

Currently, elections for the WA delegate take place on the first Monday of every month, and last for 5 days. To qualify as a candidate for the election, a confirmed resident must be a WA nation, and must be active. "Being active" is defined as logging in at least three days per week. Shortly before the delegate election, all qualified WA nations are asked if they are interested in running. If they accept, they are listed among the candidates. Only confirmed residents can vote in the delegate election; the founder is neutral and cannot vote. Votes from nations that are not confirmed residents will not be considered valid. Residents with multiple nations still have one vote. New residents that arrive during the election will be unable to vote, confirmed or unconfirmed.

Voters may choose not to vote at all if they wish. Candidates are allowed to vote for themselves. They may also campaign on the regional message board or telegram the voters if they choose. Voters may debate and express their opinions on the merits of the candidates on the RMB. Whichever candidate earns the majority of the votes shall become the new WA delegate of Queens Coming Into Our Own.

If a tie results between the incumbent delegate and another candidate, the current delegate retains his position. If a tie results between the two nations who are not the delegate, a runoff election will be held with those two nations as the only candidates.

Other elections may be held for regional decisions, such as the region's flag or the length of the delegate's term. In these elections, the founder may vote. All polls that are not related to regional decisions cannot last for more than 2 days at most.

All elections take the form of a poll.

Puppet Storage

Confirmed residents are allowed to use Queens Coming Into Our Own to store their puppet nations. However, the number of nations owned by a resident of the region cannot equal or exceed the number of puppets that the founder owns in the region, which is currently 8. Therefore, confirmed residents can have only a total of 7 nations in the region at one time.

Puppets nations in the region may not be used for malicious purposes. There are many other puppet storage regions out there if you want to do these types of things.

Foreign Affairs
Embassy Policy

Previously, Queens Coming Into Our Own had an open embassy policy. All embassy requests were accepted, as long as the region proposing the embassy was not an extremist region.

That policy is changed. From now on, Queens Coming Into Our Own will only accept embassy requests from regions that meet the following requirements:

  1. The region proposing an embassy must have a World Assembly Delegate.

  2. The region proposing an embassy must not be an extremist region.

  3. The region proposing an embassy must be more than 2 months, or 60 days, old.

If the requesting region does not meet these requirements, then the embassy request will be rejected or ignored.

Regions that already had embassies with Queens Coming Into Our Own prior to this policy change will not have their embassy withdrawn.

All residents of regions that Queens Coming Into Our Own has an embassy with are free to post on the RMB.

Ambassadors

Queens Coming Into Our Own may send ambassadors to regions which it is friendly with. Other regions may also send ambassadors to this region. Queens Coming Into Our Own makes no distinction between native residents and ambassador nations; ambassadors are treated as if they are natives.
