Resolution Analysis

Overview:
This proposal aims to commend The New Meritocracy for having served as a nexus for open dialogue and interregional action. The most significant of the region's achievements include its Meritocratic Senate, where representatives from various gameplay factions at the time participated under one banner; its various anti-invader and defensive operations; its founding of ACCEL, a future co-creator of the standing COPS treaty against forum destruction; and its general purpose as an open place for political debate and discussion.

Recommendation:
Much of The New Meritocracy's accomplishments are now ancient history, but they are nevertheless remarkable at the time and now. The proposal does the region justice by laying out in clear detail what it once was and did, particularly highlighting its commitments to open debate and defence of regional sovereignty.

For these reasons the Ministry of World Assembly Affairs recommends a vote FOR Commend The New Meritocracy.
