The Alpine Awards are a series of different awards given to recognize Blue Ridgers and their contributions to our region over the last year. Since their inception as the 2024 Blue Ridge Awards, five new categories have been added to better acknowledge the different people and niches in our community. This year, we’ve changed the name to pay homage to Compakt Repsublic (or Alpine Compakt on Discord) as acknowledgement of his invaluable contributions to Blue Ridge’s culture and roleplay in the early days of our region.

For you all, Blue Ridgers, the event is very easy. All you need to do is submit nominations in this form, and we’ll host public voting in the designated Discord channel two weeks from now. The categories may be seen below.

• Best Flag(s): For the person with the best flag/flags throughout the year.

• Favorite Government: The ‘Favorite Government’ award is given to the different governments that Blue Ridge has had over 2025. This includes the current administration.

• IC Event of the Year: The IC Event of the Year celebrates Blue Ridge’s best (or worst, or neutral) event of the year from an in-character perspective. In-character would include any government or cultural event.

• Event of the Year (OOC): The OOC Event of the Year celebrates the best, worst, or neutral out-of-character event this last year. OOC counts as any non-government community event.

• Quote of the Year: For Blue Ridger’s favorite quote said this year.

• Blue Ridger of the Year: The ‘Blue Ridger of the Year’ has defined this year for our region. Whether that’s in government, roleplay, or just the community, this person has proved themselves invaluable and an excellent part of Blue Ridge.

• Most Established: The ‘Most Established’ award reflects the person who’s inserted themself as a critical part of Blue Ridge’s community over the last year.

• Most Successful Newcomer: Blue Ridge’s ‘Most Successful Newcomer’ award goes to someone who joined Blue Ridge after December 2024 and has left a positive impact on the community. This award is separate from ‘Rising Star’, but not mutually exclusive.

• Rising Star: The ‘Rising Star’ award is given to someone who has stood above the others this year by making a positive impact on Blue Ridge. This aware is separate from ‘Most Successful Newcomer’, but not mutually exclusive.

• Favorite Visitor: The ‘Favorite Visitor’ award is given to the King/Queen Bee of Blue Ridge’s visitor scene. This person has left a positive impact on Blue Ridge just by being here.

• BR’s Parental Figure: ‘BR’s Parental Figure’ is given to someone who has been a rock or parent for the region throughout 2025 and has been a good influence on the community. This award can be given to visitors.

• Biggest Contributor: The ‘Biggest Contributor’ award is given to someone who’s dedicated their all to Blue Ridge’s roleplay scene this year. They’ve left a large and lasting positive impact on the RP.
  

• Favorite Contributor: ‘Favorite Contributor’ is given to someone who is loved by Blue Ridge’s roleplayers. They’ve been a kind and helpful soul this year and will be remembered for years to come.
  

• RP Event of the Year: The RP Event of the Year celebrates Blue Ridge’s best (or worst, or neutral) roleplay event of the year.
