The DND Navelandora - 'The Queen's Pride'

The DND Navelandora is both the Royal Navy of Deyest's Pride of the Fleet and one of it's largest ships.

Being primarily a vanity vessel, that didn't stop Her Majesty from pouring war material and gains into what most would consider an 'obsolete' design. For the time of it's design, it became her personal project to see such of her idea of concept on the high seas. Despite realistic expectations, the material for the ship started to pour in as the exact composition and armaments of the ship hung up in the air. With infinite possibilities before her, the idea of having her own Super-Ship was a teasing concept. Her first choice was a Great Battleship of immense proportions, something to challenge any ship at sea! Indestructible and nigh unstoppable.

Despite this, her Naval Architect and Engineers gently tried to coax her away from the frankly ludicrous idea of building a sea fortress that could sink. As she looked as if she wouldn't be dissuaded from her course, she finally relented as her own MoD brought up issues with the idea, the most important one being the fact that modern Naval Warfare simply didn't work that way anymore. Horrified at the prospect of loosing her precious yet-to-be built ship so quickly, she pulled back the sea-fortress idea and instead offered a similar, yet, far more reasonable idea in comparison. A gunnery platform. While unable to be deterred from building a massive ship, it was thankful that Missiles satisfied her as much as guns did. The concept was on it's way to change
