The King (Out Of Character, In Real Life)
Hello, I am the first King and founder of Marnotko (name has been changed), and this is to let you learn about myself.I was born in and live in The United States of America, however, I want to gain Croatian citizenship by descent because I think I am eligible. I also want to gain British citizenship, and also want Vanuatu citizenship for the Prince Philip Movement.
I was born a Caucasian Female, and am a cisgender heterosexual.
I am an ISTP and have been professionally diagnosed with Autism. People describe me in three words as Curious, Creative, and Unique.
I enjoy listening to random music and often listen to parodies, as well as political French music.
I am interested in learning about geopolitics, especially British and European. My favourite time periods are 1850-1950, and a close second is 1750-1950. I read some books on this as well, biography and historical fiction.
I really only do Forum 7, it is fun for me.
I always hope to be civil during politics, and everyone should have the right to freedom of thought.
Fun Facts
- I have always been good at accents, especially British and Aus/NZ*. I picked up my AUS/NZ accent for a period of roughly 7 hours, 30 minutes per day, spread over a two-year period. The only exception to my accents is that whenever I try to do a Southern accent, it always shifts to an Aus/NZ accent.
- I sleep with 9 blankets at night, including a light blanket, one that I bought from summer camp, one that my grandparents "temporarily" gave me, a main cover, one that I have for camp, two that my sister sold to me, one that I got in the Covid years for being too cold outside, and one weighted blanket. This does not include my sheets, but I have two sets of those, regular and flannel, which I rotate between.
- I am an atheist, however, I believe in the multiverse theory and reincarnation (my version is that a human is reincarnated into a human, and can be reincarnated into any human, past, present, or future, and in any timeline.)
- I am somewhat scared of heights, but my greatest fear (irrational) is the moving mats in the elevator.
- I enjoy watching movies, but prefer TV. I like historical documentaries, fiction, and rom-coms.
- I love animals, especially dogs, Nigerian Dwarf Goats, and horses.
- I have been in two political debates, one in person and one over text, over the same topic, and in this day and age it is very hard to find people who can debate with civility.
- My favourite cheeses are Parmesan and Cheddar.
- My favourite pizza consists of Mushrooms, Tomatoes, and Kalamata Olives, and like Parmesan instead of Mozzarella and Oil instead of Red Sauce.
Get To Know Me Questions
1. Do you collect anything? Yes, international and historical currency, as well as rare US currency (meaning $1 Coins, $50 Bills, and $100 Bills)
2. What is on your bucket list? I'm assuming this means for travel, but I want to visit every sovereign state, but my top 3 are The Netherlands (Huis Doorn), Latvia (Liepāja), and Switzerland (Zermatt, and Merlischachen) in no particular order.
3. What is the best place you ever travelled to? I love all abroad travel, but have two favourites, the UK and Croatia.
4. What is one story you love to tell, but rarely get the chance? I have three of these. There is the story that my friend and I were watching a celebration of life from afar and the host invited us onto the dance floor after seeing us, the time that a frog jumped onto my head but when I had to put it down it refused to let go and jumped back, and the time my cousin and I were in Costa Rica and saw a dog that looked almost identical to his dog and we were playing with it.
5. What is your favourite subject in school? Probably my APs, the Social Studies-adjacent ones, including AP Human Geography and AP US History.
Notes
*When I say Aus/NZ, I do not mean that there is one single accent for everyone living in New Zealand and Australia. I mean that I picked up an accent from a woman who "lived about half [her] life in New Zealand and the other half in Australia so [her] accent is likely a combination of the two".
