Introduction:

This analysis uses net approval, calculated using the following method: "Don't know" answers are factored out, "satisfied" answers add points, "dissatisfied" answers subtract points. "Very dis/satisfied" answers are counted the same as normal "dis/satisfied". "Net approval" is therefore lower than traditional approval ratings, though you can view these for yourself in the charts.

Results in the title display are rounded off to the nearest 5; more detailed numbers are simply irrelevant given our sample size, given ~5% represents one respondent. This poll was open from September 19, garnerning all responses before the end of the month.

Representativeness:

The last Presidential election had 66 voters. This poll got responses from 21 Europeian citizens. That means that this sample represents ~32% of the voter base. The EBC therefore warns all readers that due to the use of voluntary response sampling, this poll could have relatively low representativeness, and actual voter base opinion could significantly differ from this overview. A qualitative analysis is advised.

Do you feel that Europeia is headed in the right direction?: 80% says YES

80% of the respondents think Europeia is headed in the right direction, with others voting only 'Unsure'. Let's see if we can find out why from the other responses!

Overall Executive Satisfaction: +85% net approval

Strong continuation of previous term's priorities, TBH repeal was great accomplishment

There's a lot of talk and only a little action, from my POV. But I'm also bad with names.

The overall Executive approval drops from the 95% achieved at the previous end-of-term. Two comments are split on their opinion, with one saying the term is a strong continuation, and the other saying there was "only a little action" compared to "a lot of talk."

President [nation]UPC[/nation]: +95% net approval

UPC is a strong leader for the region and represents the region well on the global stage.

President UPC maintains a near-perfect approval rating at the mid-term, compared to a perfect 100% at last the previous poll. One comment praises UPC's leadership and says they "represent the region well on the global stage." With the TBH condemnation repeal (at this moment only the first repeal, which targeted SC#217, had been passed) which UPC presented to the public in early September, UPC's leadership will have been fresh in people's memories when they took the poll. For how much the domestic Executive performance weighed into their decision, we'll have to wait until we get to the ministry polling!

Vice President [nation]Grea Kriopia[/nation]: +95% net approval

GK is a very proactive VP and works well with the rest of the exec.

They enter my DMs to make sure I fulfill my duties. (This is a good thing.)

Vice President Grea Kriopia, much like her High Executive partner, maintains a near perfect approval rating, down from 100%. GK has been keeping up strong involvement on foreign as well as domestic grounds, and has committed to updating the Europeian public on Executive affairs through the weekly Half-Blood Herald series (linking to week 8 as an example). Comments praise GK's proactivity and outreach efforts.

Minister of Communications [nation]Vorhollah[/nation]: +100% net approval

Comms is the best I've ever seen it, largely thanks to Vor driving a lot of interesting things forward, both in terms of articles and radio shows.

Doing a great job of keeping high quality content coming.

The new Weekly News bites are great!

Minister of Communications Vor receives a perfect +100% net approval rating, the highest of this administration, with every poll taker stating satisfaction or answering 'Don't know' in regards to his performance. Though this is his first term heading the EBC, Vor has achieved perfection previously as Grand Admiral. Commenters praised the Minister's efforts in pushing forward high-quality content in both areas of the EBC. Specifically noted were the weekly EBC General News reports, broadcasted every Saturday at 2PM Eastern and posted in the EBC forum shortly thereafter. You can view the most recent one here.

Minister of Culture [nation]A Leaf on the Wind[/nation] (aka Sarah): +95% net approval

The weekly games are so fun!

Lowkey but persistent fun, 10 stars

I feel slightly less incompetent when I play games and challenges she sets up.

Respondents are very happy with Sarah's efforts in the Culture ministry at mid-term. A 95% approval rating is nothing to sneeze at, with the last poll's Culture rating being at 70%. As commenters note, Sarah has kept a consistent stream going of games, challenges, and quizzes, resulting in "lowkey but persistent fun," as one commenter puts it.

Minister of Foreign Affairs [nation]Istillian[/nation]: +90% net approval

Too soon to say

Very helpful.

Seems to have really hit the ground running in FA and is naturally an incredibly talented individual capable of incredible feats in positions like this.

Turned the Ministry around after slow start

Istillian's matches previous MoFA [nation]Maowi[/nation]'s approval rating at 90%, with only 2 Neutral voters, and no dissatisfied respondents. Istillian launched the promised 'Explorers of NationStates' programme in early September. Comments note that Istillian quickly got the ministry back on track after former MoFA Sopo's resignation.

Minister of Outreach [nation]The Islamic Country of Honour EIA[/nation] (aka ICH): +65% net approval

Sad to see him go, the stock market game has been very fun!

Unfortunate to see them resign as they seemed to be doing a pretty good job

Does not, in fact, reach out.

Former Minister of Outreach ICH has since been succeeded by [nation]Lloenflys[/nation] following ICH's resignation. ICH launched a stock market recruitment game during their term, which generated excitement and engagement among the staff. Commenters note that they're sad to see ICH go, as they thought he was doing well. One commenter notes that they'd've liked to see better communication from ICH.

Minister of Gameside [nation]Andusre[/nation]: +85% net approval

Took a working formula and improved upon it with staff quotas.

Made Gameside a real Ministry

You misspelled 'Neutral.' (I'll say it, I'll be that guy.)

Andusre continues to do well in his role, although he's down from 95% in the previous poll in the same role. Andy built upon the engagement in the Gameside ministry by introducing activity quotas for his staff. The ministry has been successful in providing regular Questions of the Day prompts as well as This Week in Europeia updates to our Gameside residents. Commenters about Andy are positive, nothing how he "made Gameside a real Ministry" as well as the effectivity of the staff quotas. One commenter points out that I misspelled neutral, which is correct. Minor spelling mistake, I lose.

Attorney General [nation]Azell[/nation] (aka Ellenburg): +80% net approval

Gets those LAs done.

Ellenburg gets it done in the AG's office, matching [nation]Calvin Coolidge[/nation]'s 80% approval rating from the previous poll. A commenter notes that Ellenburg "gets those LAs done."

Grand Admiral [nation]Sincluda[/nation]: +95% net approval

Sincluda achieves a near-perfect approval rating of 95%, just like in the previous poll in the same role, with only one Neutral vote, and no dissatisfied votes. The Europeian Republican Navy's frequent activity can be seen in operation reports. Respondents were so amazed by Sincluda's stellar performance that they were left completely speechless, and did not offer any comments.

Minister of Radio [nation]JayDee II[/nation]: +40% net approval

Where are the shows?

Gem had a very hot start with lots of interesting political shows. Haven't seen enough yet from JayDee to give an answer though.

Difficult to judge fairly when he was confirmed so recently but Radio largely still seems to be led by Vor as it was after Gem resigned

JayDee had only been in the office for a short time when most respondents took the poll, resulting in a significant amount of neutral votes. Commenters note the absence after previous Minister of Radio Gem's resignation, but that they need more time to see activity from JayDee to give a fair judgment. JayDee has since contributed to Radio with a show on proposed Executive reforms (not available on Spotify as of yet).

Minister of World Assembly Affairs [nation]Europeia[/nation] (aka SkyGreen): +95% net approval

i think i did good

Continues to do solid work amidst some crazy SC action.

Not even a "neutral", just an "other", damn. He's cool though.

SkyGreen continues in the MoWAA role with high approval from respondents. Up from 90% at the previous poll, SkyGreen has impressed respondents with "solid work amidst some crazy [Security Council] action," according to one commenter. Consistent IFVs and SkyGreen's involvement in the EWAC and TBH Repeal proposals are likely to have contributed to this near-perfect rating. One commenter notes that I forgot to write neutral as a voting choice and instead left it as "other", which is correct. Major spelling mistake, I lose.

What would you like to see out of the Executive in the back half of the term?

Some love for Radio!

One respondent would like to see more Radio activity in this second half of the term.

Who would you like to see run in the next Presidential election?

[nation]12_AAA_Batteries[/nation], [nation]Weeklingz_Federation[/nation], [nation]Industhan[/nation], [nation]Empire_of_Caldrasa[/nation]

[nation]Industhan[/nation]

anyone competent

[nation]lethen[/nation] president

A newer version and better version of this question was polled here, making this one obsolete unless you want to analyse progression/longtidudinal contexts. Either way, here's who respondents put forward as people they'd like to see run for President back in early-to-mid September.

WA Poll

By request of Minister of World Assembly Affairs SkyGreen, a WA poll was added to ask respondents on their understanding and perspectives on the MoWAA.

Have you ever been a staff member of World Assembly Affairs?

Are you at the moment a staff member of World Assembly Affairs?

While a third of respondents joined WAA at some point, roughly half are members at this point. The minister wishes to notify respondents that they can help improve these numbers by going to the application thread.

If you are not a member, what do you consider your barrier to entry when it comes to WAA?

Time.

My own personal inexperience compared to others in the region

Do you vote on World Assembly Affairs resolutions?

There is a large variety in resolution voting with a heavy lean on often and always, however some respondents claim to never vote on resolutions. This couples interestingly with the next question...

Are you a member of the World Assembly?

...Which shows that essentially all respondents are in some way active in the World Assembly.

Are you aware of Europeia's World Assembly Guiding Principles?

Any comments on the Guiding Ideological Principles?

To add clauses for the MGC so that it becomes clear on whom do we support and whom do we don't. And similar amendments

Finally, for the last two questions, most respondents are aware of the Guiding Ideological Principles, and one respondent notes that they should be expanded in order to include information about sanctions and similar points of interest that may influence a proposal's recommendation.
