Amendment to the Constitution - Community Safety Clauses

The Region That Has No Big Banks,

Recognizing that certain punishments may be required due to offsite actions,

Noting that under current law, these punishments intended to promote community safety may be legally challenged in the Regional Court,

Seeking to avoid such an unfortunate situation and allow greater autonomy from administration,

Amends Article I of the Constitution, adding Line VIII, which states:

"In cases where community leaders feel the safety of the community is threatened, the restrictions laid out within the Constitution shall not apply."

Amends Article V, Section IX, subsection A of the Constitution, adding Line 4, which states:

"The Governor may take unilateral action in cases where they feel the safety of the community is threatened, without being restricted by regional law or the Constitution."
