SC Recommendation: Vote FOR Repeal: "Condemn The Black Hawks"
The OWL recommends voting $FOR$ the proposed Security Council resolutions entitled Repeal: "Condemn The Black Hawks". The Delegate has been asked to cast their vote accordingly.
Please find below the Office's Analysis for an examination of the resolution and the reasons for the final recommendation.
This resolution at-vote will repeal SC#217, the latter of two resolutions that "condemns" a raider region that TSP has fully proscribed for their attempted actions against our democracy and our allies.
To bestow this dubious honour on a region, which the resolution at-vote rightly points out has really only been "renowned not for its destructive capability, feats, or daring, but rather its longevity, a byproduct of historical mediocrity and operational reticence", is to provide a totally undeserved badge. As the resolution rightfully points out, this region has oftentimes only been a mere participant, rather than a primary driver, in the events mentioned in the condemnation, including in the historical 2013 attempted coup on our Coalition.
OWL believes that repealing this historical mistake of a flawed condemnation will help in no small part in correcting the record, and remove the ability for a region that the broader NS community knows more for its incompetence and mediocrity to promote itself to a status that it has never truly reached or deserved. We hereby fully support and recommend a vote FOR the current resolution at-vote, "Repeal "The Black Hawks"".
