(8/22/2024 13:51) - MINSK - The Federal Republic of Serov officially entered a state of Civil War as the Parliament voted to stop recognizing Stanislav Euler as Prime Minister. This comes after Euler repeatedly refused to relinquish his emergency powers he's had since the Great War. Shortly after, the Parliament voted that former WA Ambassador and current Governor of Babruysk, Niina Orlova, is the legitimate Prime Minister. Euler responded by declaring the Parliament illegitimate and signing an act (using his emergency powers) to dissolve the Parliament. Soon after, the military seized control of Moscow and significant parts of the border, and declared neutrality in the conflict. Next, the runners up in the Parliament's vote for Prime Minister, Alice Levin and Valentin Morozov declared that both the Prime Minister and Parliament are illegitimate and that they respectively, are the real Prime Minister. This prompted Left-Wing extremists throughout the country to seize control of Konigsberg, Gotland, and Kazan. The extremists were able to defeat the military in that area and seize their assets for their own use.
