Amendment to Article IX

The Region That Has No Big Banks,

Recognizing the requirement to avoid a potential constitutional crisis, in a scenario whereby two candidates both achieve 50% of the vote,

Hereby amends Article IX and inserts a new subsection under subsection F which states:

“G. If two candidates both reach 50%, Parliament shall immediately convene and hold a special Voting Session to determine the candidate to be elected. If both candidates receive 50% of the vote in Parliament, the Governor shall be given seven days to decide the candidate to be elected.”
