The Tsardom of Dushina (DU or DUS), commonly known as the Dushinan Empire (DE or D.E) or Dushina, is a country located in the Northern portion of South America between the Brazilian Commonwealth
and the Central American Republic. It is an Empire comprised of 14 states and various island territories. Outside of the states and territories, Dushina has control of a military base located in Maxifaer. The country has the world's seventh-largest land area, 5th largest maritime exclusive economic zone and the third-largest population, exceeding 550 million.
Cats reached South America roughly three million years ago, Spanish colonization lead to the first settlement of the city of Santa Marta in Magdalenda in 1525. The horrors of WWI and disagreements with the German Empire lead the people of Dushina to revolt in the Dushinan Uprising of 1914. After 4 years of bloodshed and hundreds of thousands of lives lost, Dushina officially gained their independence in 1918. Division over the absolute monarchy in Dushina and a failed invasion resulted in a brief uprising by anarchists in Katze but it was quickly crushed. By the early 1990s due to the massive oil reserves of Dushina they were recognized as a world power. After a attack by Sudanese and Libyan forces on Ægyptas Dushina declared war in early 2022 leading to the complete and utterly humiliating loss of the province of Ægyptas, held by Dushina for centuries.
The Dushinan Government is a self proclaimed autocracy run by Tsar Fluff the First. The government is comprised of four branches, those being the Tsar, Royal Parliament of Dushina, Grand Parliament of Dushina and the Supreme court. Very little autonomy is given to the states and territories and most of the power is held by the federal government.
