SNN Special News Report Siege of the Kelzayian Capital

(12/1/2023 9:02) WTDO Coalition forces have advanced on the Kelzayian capital. Serovian and SCCR troops lead the assault that lead to the encirclement of the capital. WTDO forces have set up artillery positions to seige and bombard the Kelzayian capital. Serovian soldier Pyotr Vasilievich had this to say "It's like a knife through butter! The Kelzayian army is very disorganized and keeps falling into our traps. Whenever we liberate a town we're greeted by tons of happy locals celebrating us. They've been wanting freedom for years and we're bringing it." Under the old Kelzayian government enthnic minorities, religious minorities, LGBT, women, and political dissidents were all harshly oppressed by the radically authoritarian Kelzayian government. Currently WTDO forces bombard the Kelzayian capital with standard and rocket artillery. Inside the Kelzayian capital, there is chaos with the people uprising against their government. All high ranking Kelzayian government officials have already fled the country. The mayor of the Kelzayian capital (the highest ranking official still in Kelzay) has said he will never surrender to the WTDO. But the people of the city are in all out uprising so there is yet hope. Even if the people can't overthrow the mayor the WTDO forces can still capture the city with their forces.
