The Kansan Cast

The "Royal Family"
Queen Kyrie Eleison (Kiki)
The current Queen of Kansas is very much the "woman of the people" type. All she ever wanted was to be just like any other Kansan, and she has never thought of herself as any better than any other Kansan. She is also extremely pacifist, and always tries to do the best she can by her people and her family. She is the mother of young Prince Nathan (adopted) and Princess Blue, best friends with SDNP's Queen Bella, and in a complicated on-again-off-again relationship with an Aerlanican man named William.

Prince Nathan (Nate) Eleison
After being adopted by Queen Kiki due to the loss of his parents in the SKO BUFFS! airport bombing, Nathan has settled into his new royal life. He attends elementary school and is highly intelligent; he enjoys mathematics and reading in particular. He is quite the bookworm, but he also loves spending time outside, or with his best friend Emily.

Princess Blue Eleison
The infant Princess is a very happy baby, and loves her mother, her father and her brother very much.

The Government
President Cait Sudowski
Cait is very intelligent and enjoys learning about Kansan and Augustan history. He is a rather serious and level-headed person, devoted to his work, and constantly trying to do better in his career. He is in a long-term relationship with SDNP's Cara Caruso, the father of a brand new baby girl and an honorary father for Cara's older daughter Emily Caruso.

Connie Sudowski
Connie is Cait's twin sister. In contrast to her brother, she is quite emotionally driven and very spontaneous, often described as hotheaded and erratic. She cares very deeply for her family, including her brother and sister as well as her wife, an Aerlanican known as "Tsarina", and her two new daughters, Eliza and Eloise.

Carissa Sudowski (ghost)
Carissa died twenty-three years ago when she took a bullet for her sister. She then came back as a ghost three years ago, first manifesting near Emily Caruso and her siblings. Since then, she has spent time rediscovering the world around her, reconnecting with her family and trying to keep herself busy. She is a very creative spirit and enjoys pursuing the arts. A talented musical prodigy before her death, she can play many instruments and also likes acting, painting, singing, and other artistic fields.

Zera West
Though she no longer has an official title in the Kansan government, Zera is a valuable asset. She works closely with Kansan officials and diplomats from around the world. A natural-born peace-maker and diplomat, Zera has solved many conflicts and crises both within the Kansan government and beyond. She is hardworking, kind, and loves working with people. Interestingly, she is also mute.

Zay West
Zera's husband. A man with a kind, friendly, if sometimes misguided heart.

Notable Civilians
Cory Hart, MD
A doctor in the capital city.

Macy McNerrin
The most famous tennis player in Kansas. After a devastating knee-injury, she is working her way back to the top of the bracket. She is engaged to Khanian Thomas Valencia and recently gave birth to Michael McNerrin.

Max McNerrin
Macy's father. Also a world-class tennis player in his day, still a champion and a legend in his own right.

Michael McNerrin
Son of Macy and Thomas.

Isabelle (Iz) Cole
The oldest of four siblings, Isabelle is a warrior spirit, always helping others.

Jayden (Jay) Cole
Jayden is the second of the Cole siblings. He is a diplomat, wanderer and solitary soul.

Kenji (Ken) Cole
Ken is the third oldest. He has a strong sense of humor, is a bit clumsy and unsure of himself. After his time travel adventures, he is enjoying his time living in his penthouse suite with his friends and his brother Luca.

Lucas (Luca) Cole (will be dead soon so don't get attached)
The youngest of the Coles, Luca is definitely the baby of the family. He was diagnosed with Leukemia as a child, and has struggled with it off and on for most of his life. A year ago, the doctors told him there wasn't much else they could do for him, and it's likely that very soon, the Leukemia will get the better of Luca and he won't be around any more. Still, he enjoys every minute of his life, spending time with his family and often enjoying Waffles on a Stick with his siblings.

Casey Ace
Ace is a close friend of the Cole family, in particular Kenji and Lucas.

Kiralyn Allison
(My self-insert, don't judge)
Kiralyn is a student at Buffs University. She has traveled abroad to Gondor and SDNP, and is graduating soon. She is married to Rei Khan's Kyra Subetei. Kiralyn is extremely intelligent, and an introvert. She enjoys music, tennis, and science. She is a dog person, though she recently adopted four kittens.

James Henry
A friend of Kiralyn after they studied abroad together. Macy's ex-boyfriend. James is allergic to just about everything, very clumsy, funny and charming, and ruggedly handsome. He is trying to find his path in the world, though it's a bit of a struggle.

Mermaids
In the Kansan waters, there are two pods. The first is a pod that lives on the reef, just off the southern coast of the nation, near the new underwater city of CORGI. The other pod lives in the northern waters, near the glacier and sea ice regions in the colder water.
